It boils down to perception and tolerance. We all perceive things differently, depending on how we were raised, the type of culture we are from and our personal experiences. What is bad in another culture can be the norm in another environment. A glass of water can be half empty to you, but half full to him. We need to learn how to tolerate and respect each other regardless.
