According to Wikipedia, typically, the term, a failed state means that the state has been rendered ineffective and is not able to enforce its laws uniformly or provide basic goods and services to its citizens because of (variously) high crime rates, insurgency, extreme political corruption, an impenetrable and ineffective bureaucracy, judicial ineffectiveness, and military interference in politics.
Based on the above, and other factors, do you think Nigeria, in today's present conditions, can be judged to be a failed state?
Please, let's be honest in our submissions.

we don't need the sue sayers to tell us that Nigeria has a failed state. At this level where will are we can't boast of basic amenities such as good roads, pipeborne water, electricity, etc. It is barbaric.

Nigeria is a failed state and its biggest failures are the Yoruba People. The Yoruba with their education and sophistication failed Nigeria Akintola collaborated with NPC to oppress Awolowo and destabilize the Western Region. Failed us when Ogundipe ran away, Failed us by not keeping to their promise to seceed. Failed Nigeria by not supporting the midwest and Gowon. Failed Nigeria by not supporting Fela. Not supporting MKO. Not Supporting Jonathan. Collaborating with Fulani since the time of Afonja.

Nigeria was never meant to be one country. This is why Nigeria and Africa is failing today. The heart, lungs and liver are three different organs. If you join them together, they Will fail. The body will fail.

No hate to Yoruba. Just facts. The Yoruba are a strong nation. They need to stand up and lets end this sham of a republic.

Ndi Yoruba. You are a PROUD and STRONG nation. Show us your strength. Stop being slaves. . Show us your Colors. SHOW US YOUR FLAG.

You are very correct. A country that cannot make her citizens enjoy basic necessities of life, which other countries are taking for granted, does not deserve to be accorded absolute patriotism.
Look at what is happening in Ghana. Nigerians are now treated as outcasts, just because there is little or no conducive environment and amenities for doing genuine business in the country.
It's just a pity!
