Well I know ifa is a child or a grandchild to Orunmila. There is a part of odu that called Orunmila baba ifa.

What I heard was that Agboniregun children and grand children were the Yoruba people that received Oduduwa in Ile ife.

I think you mean Orunmila baba Agboniregun. The only connection according to the Odu is that Ifa learnt divination from Agboniregun, not sure of any other connection but I stand to be corrected.
