Tranquill: There is no reason for such silly insinuation. After all, Ikwerre are Bini. Even if "Ijaw and Urhobos" decide otherwise, Ikwerre must be transplanted to whatever subjugated republic formed by the former. |
Re: South South And Biafra by proeast(m): 9:18am On Aug 26, 2020 |
dokyOloye: Don't mind them. They always tell themselves lies against Igbos and still believe same lies. If Anambra with a high population and small landmass can still have such massive farms with vast areas yet to be utilized, then I wonder why Igboland can't be self sufficient in food production. If food production is reliant on having a large landmass alone, then Niger state would have been exporting excess food commodities to the whole of Africa yet nothing. 2 Likes |

Parisian: Hell no!!! Ndigbo should not ask for permission to insult the so-called South-South. Where are the people of Bakassi that were once the bulk of the silly south-south? Most rapscallions in the south-south must be transplanted in the instance of disintegration of Nigeria, What will happen in the impending Nigeria's fracas will make Nigeria\Biafra war look like a child's play. |

ggood: Another BULSHIT. Peter Odili's wife is from Mbaise in Imo state. Peter Obi's wife is from Akwa Ibom. Okonjo Iweala married a man from Abia state. Three prominent personalities I just pulled from my head in a second! There are tens of thousands others too! Who are those running the whole sale, distribution, retail and services industry of not just Niger Delta but Nigeria as a whole if not Igbos? Yet this one is telling himself lies that they don't do business with Igbos. So who they do business with, fulani? Yoruba? Who exactly?? |

Dedetwo: The reason why the Niger Delta is in a mess is because the people can't think critically. The oil is drilled in their villages and they suffer all the collateral damages yet others in faraway places are the ones enjoying the proceeds. How many of them even own oil wells? East West road is still in terrible condition but not only has the federal government repaired those in other zones, they've now advanced to the level of building rails and other infrastructures. Ordinary headquarters of the oil companies that are drilling the oil are not even in the Niger Delta, instead they're in other places paying huge taxes to those state government, employing the indigenes of those places while they continue to suffer as their farmlands are polluted, streams polluted, air polluted and when rain falls, it baths them with acid rain They keep shouting our oyel this, Igbo that, while afonjas and abo.kis cart everything away. Area4Area: But why do you Nigerians want Igbo to be fragmented but you are busy rallying your "Bini descendants" like Ikwerre and co ? Why do you exhaust so much energy to see us fail ? You , a Bini man is not more "south south" than Abia and Imo yet you never sleep over Igbo issue. We don't want Bini and their cousins Uhrobo , Itshekiri , Ukwuani , Ika ,Ikwerre , Ogba , Ijaw etc. Just a pure Igbo nation with our Enuani and whoever comes out of Rivers excluding Ikwerre. Leave us alone abeg!! You wanted one Nigeria but the moment you see Igbo man setting up a business all hell is let loose. We are not the same people with you guys that's why you are ruffled by our business wizardry. Would you not like a "south south" where you all worship the Omonoba Ukwu Akpolokpolo? You should love that. Leave us alone abeg....go face your own "we south south" people. We don't want any fuccking "south south" but if you try to frustrate us out of jealousy blood will flow and that might spell the end of your little Bini chiefdom! Thread with caution. |

Re: South South And Biafra by Elysiana: 11:15am On Aug 26, 2020 |
well anyone who is still saying that biafra has to do with igbos alone needs to wake up and face two facts.... 1. igbos span throughout the both southern regions of southeast and southsouth , anyone who is disputing that fact is either ignorant of history, ancestry and cultures or he/she just wants to be a fool. 2. the network of ipob is in almost every village of both regions, anyone in doubt should go to one of the most remotes locations in the southsouth and be prepared for an eye opener. the struggle for refrendum is as effective in the south south as it is in the southeast if not more effective, if you want to verify go whenever there is a SIT-AT-HOME order and you will be suprised or probably whenever there is a protest... i rest my case.... 1 Like |

Igbochief001: a river is not international water....who told you that nonesense....?? settle....?? okay, but i dont think its gonna work when you keep on demandin other peoples areas wheather igbos are their or not.... delta will stay in nigeria, has nothing to do with biafra.... and when delta stay in nigeria, nigeria will use delta to frustrate your attempt to get to the ocean.... better una drop this biafra thing and concentrate on developin your areas.... this argument has been going on for years now and still nothing, while other regions are fighting for their fair share.... |

Re: South South And Biafra by dokyOloye: 3:38pm On Aug 26, 2020 |
tsdarkside:Why are you dissipating so much energy to prove Biafra will not be viable, what is your concern exactly since you are not Igbo? A river is not an international water but your Nigeria has to supply Niger republic with electricity free of charge cos if they don't, Niger republic will dam the river upstream, than Kanji and Shiroro dams will become useless. Self deceit is allowed sha. |
Re: South South And Biafra by proeast(m): 4:03pm On Aug 26, 2020 |
tsdarkside: Typical afonja man, people that are neither here nor there but always speaking from both sides of the mouth. They will be making noise about how Igbos will never rule Nigeria, then Igbos say no problem, we will leave Nigeria and form their own country, the same afonjas will still tell Igbos one million reasons why they should remain in Nigeria. SMH! Fighting for autonomy/independence is never easy and is never gotten within days, rather it takes time. Check USSR, Sudan, Ethiopia, Yugoslavia, South Africa, India etc. Biafra lived for a short period between 1967-70 now the agitation is back again and is gaining momentum with each passing day. Nigeria on the hand continues to struggle and fumble with one crises after another. No peace. No progress. But suffering, misery, poverty and killings is the order of the day with a clowd of uncertainty hovering over it, yet you believe it won't break up? Continue decieving yourself. |

Re: South South And Biafra by proeast(m): 10:14am On Aug 27, 2020 |
AmuDimpka: Their leaders are terrible and the followers too are very very dull. I pity them and the generations yet unborn because they will suffer untold consequences for being so unreasonable and thoughtless. If the governors there has sense, they would have held a crucial meeting amongst themselves and reach a conclusion that any oil company without its head office in the region shouldn't be allowed to operate. Look at the federal roads there, all in terrible conditions yet they're not even a priority. The same federal government that neglected them is building infrastructures all over the North and Lagos areas. They throw them some crumbs at the NDDC, they steal everything. Look at the cities and tell me if there is anything to show that this region is one of the world's richest in oil resources. Slums everywhere. Poverty. Cultism. Unemployment. Hopelessness. Pollution. They are not even questioning why everywhere is in tatters despite all the billions of dollars leaving the region. The leaders are irresponsible, same as those being led. 1 Like |

Re: South South And Biafra by proeast(m): 10:22am On Aug 27, 2020 |
They have a crab mentality and are busy fighting themselves instead of uniting to fight the oppressors. The ikwerre thinks they've arrived since they've ruled for 16 years back to back. They think Igbos are their enemy and go about poisoning the minds of Igbo communities in Rivers State against the larger Igbo ethnic group, when common sense should have made them understand that standing together against a common enemy is the easiest way to achieve greater results. |
