The Traditionl Prime Minister Of Ogbe Autonomous Community Heads Regency Council by nomsofidel: 5:25am On Feb 19, 2011
The people of Ogbe autonomous community in Ahiara, Ahiazu Mbaise L.G.A are still in a mourning mood after the burial of their traditional ruler, His Highness Eze D.O. Anyanwu (Eze Udo II), on the 11th of February 2011. Late Eze D. O. Anyanwu, popularly known as "Aba-Lagos promoter" ascended the throne in 1996 after the death of the then traditional ruler. He ruled Ogbe autonomous community until his death on November 21, 2010. He was a seasoned transporter and business man and was from Umulolo, in Ogbe Ahiara, Ahiazu Mbaise.

According to the Ogbe community constitution, the traditional prime minister (TPM) who seconds the traditional ruler will take charge of affairs of the community through the one year mourning period stipulated in the community constitution. After the mourning period, the position of traditional ruler in Ogbe autonomous community will be declared vacant and the sons of Ogbe who are interested to vie for the position will be invited to contest. The position of traditional ruler in Ogbe autonomous community is not hereditary and therefore rotates between the three communities that make up Ogbe autonomous community namely Umuoma, Umuaghara/Umulolo, and Umuokawa. The method of rotation is however not defined in the constitution.

The traditional prime minister who is expected to take charge of affairs in Ogbe autonomous community as stipulated in the constitution is Chief Patrick Chimezie Ihuoma.

Chief Patrick Ihuoma was born on the 11th of March, 1952 at Lagos to late "Prof" Dominic nnamdi Ihuoma, and Matilda Nwanyibekee ihuoma of Umuoma Ogbe in Ahiara, Ahiazu Mbaise. He attended St. Peter's primary school, Afor Ogbe and where he distinguished himself by getting a double promotion and finishing his FSLC with a distinction. He proceeded to the popular and highly reputed Boys Secondary School, Aboh where he also finished in flying colors. He notably attained the position of prefect-of-all-prefects when he was made the prefect of class 5A. He finished with the class of '72. He proceeded to Bunkerhill High School, in Massachusetts where he obtained a high school certificate issued by the commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Chief Patrick Ihuoma returned to Nigeria in 1990 and met Victoria Onyeagocha from Ndoki, in Ukwa East, Abia State whom he married 1994. The marriage is blessed with 5 children, 3 girls and and 2 boys.

Chief Patrick Ihuoma is the President-General of Amala Social Club of Nigeria, the National Treasurer of Ahiazu Pillars associaltion and an ex-official member of Mbaise Stars Club. He likes football and cracking jokes and dislikes lies.

Chief Patrick Ihuoma was decorated with the title of "Ugo etere mmanu ndi Igbo" I of Katsina by the Emir of katsina and the "Eze ndi Igbo" of Katsina. He was appointed to the position of the traditional prime minister of Ogbe on August 15th, 1997 by the late Eze Chief D. O. Anyanwu.
