They give these subtle bribes to judges to buy the judiciary but those who are really making life worth living in Nigeria haven't received anything...

In this game, Nyesom Wike is the best when it comes to "rewarding" judges.

I pray they think of teachers too.

You are absolutely correct. The judiciary is the third and separate arm of government. They should therefore have their own separate budget and separate administrative set up. But then, it is Nigeria. How does a branch that is equal and separate donate cars to another branch that is equal and separate?. These Mumu Judges won't talk. Do they even know their rights?. Not just billboards they need to court major companies and celebrities to patronise them and influence others to patronise them.

Where is the separation of power? If you collect car gift from someone, then you will be forced to return a favour when the need arises.

Just to clarify the cars that Judges and other government employed legal professionals receive are given every 6 or so years and are to be their official cars for that time period. This isn't the first time it's happened and really the governor didn't need to be there he just had to make a show of it to improve his reputation with Chinese investors who undoubtedly had a hand in the delivery of the cars.

These things are not right, to be honest!

So, where's the independence of the Judiciary, if the Executives are gifting High Court Judges Cars? embarassed

What happened to the budget of the Ministry of Justice? If the Ministry deems it fit for the Judges to be entitled to vehicles, why can't they be the ones to provide such, having gone through the appropriate procurement process. It is utterly wrong in my view.
