Nigeria has become an object of mockery and disrespect due to it's failed state status and Nigerians penchant for supporting criminals into positions of power at local, state and federal level.

The next election in 2023 is a time for Nigerians to elect visionary leaders who can turn the country around. Why do Nigerians keep advocating for the same leaders responsible for the country being a failed state and corruption capital of the world such as Atiku,Bola Tinubu,Peter Obi,El-Rufai,Rotimi Amaechi,Yemi Osibanjo etc

Some enemies of state are pushing for the Atiku's and Bola Tinubu's. They are happy keeping Nigeria an object of mockery around the world and a failed state that can't even provide basic amenities such as water and electricity to it's citizens.

In my opinion, no politician has plans to be fair and righteous. Politics has no business with honesty any politician that trie’s to make you believe they are holy run away e.g Osinbajo, Buhari, Jonathan, Amechi... I will be happier if known thieves and evils are elected e.g ganduje elrufia, kalu, tinubu, rochas....

None of the politicians care about you, remember that when you are at the ballot , Until the much desired Political sterilization happens..Goodluck

There's nothing special about you or anyone else, the way you think, isn't any different from the average Nigerian. The problem with Nigeria is that Nigeria isn't a real country. People vote on ethnic lines, instead of policies and/or competency, and those in power accentuate and further divide the populace in order to perpetuate their position in Nigeria.

The only solution to Nigeria is, we either restructure the nation, such that it operates under a loose federation, like a confederation, or we just dismantle the country, and let everyone go in peace.

What about the external debt Nigeria owes? It is owed by all federating units and that is why we must remain as one indivisible nation.

There is actually nothing you can do that is what they want it is inside the blood you cannot change them. I met a Nigerian professor in Malawi in the 1980s and he was telling me we Nigerians know we cannot develop a country but we don't have a choice it is better we support a criminal

That girl or women speaking, probably couldn't even spell Nigeria, I highly doubt she'd be able to pick the country out on an atlas map. She's just chatting for chatting sake. I guess she likes Donald Trump? The driver misjudged the situation. Given the current predicament in the country, with Donald Trump actively supporting White Supremacist groups, referring to BLM supporters as criminals and terrorists. It's an understandable assumption.

Unfortunately for him, that girl or woman, doesn't identify with him, she doesn't see herself as African, and she was probably more offended by the idea of him, an African, saying something disparaging about her country, rather than the actual contents of his words. Because I have no idea how any Black American could get so riled up over Donald Trump, a man who thinks so little of Black Americans in general.

Debt does not determine where the infrastructure is is the place where the debt goes

She has no ties to Africa, some black Americans can trace their lineage up to 400 years in America.

If the government takes out a loan to build a railway system in Lagos, and Lagos breaks from the union, then the debt would go to Lagos.

If you feel that way, that Nigeria should remain one, then stop complaining about the country. Because it's obvious you don't want anything to change. The only way things can/will improve, is if there's change. Either, the country is restructured, in such a way, that the actions of Igbo people, only affects Igbo people, or the actions of Hausa people, only affects Hausa people, or it disintegrates. But as long as you have this winner takes all situation, you're always going to have the corruption, the wrangling, the ethnic hate, the lack of development, etc.

I'm not advocating anything, I'm just answering the question. How do you fix things? Well, you don't fix things by doing the same thing over and over and over. And asking people not to be corrupt, is doing the same thing Nigerians did 20 years ago, and what those Nigerians did 20 years before that. It doesn't work. The only thing that will work, is if Nigeria operated as it was initially intended. As a country of many nations. If the various ethnic groups are only able to affect the lives of their own people, then it'd eliminate the do or die affair which is so prevalent in Nigerian politics.
