I always told people that SARS is not the problem. SARS been disbanded now, soon another unit is going to be created with the same people in it. The whole cycle of brutality and abuse will continue.

Extra judicial killings, brutality and abuse of human right are things that have been perpetrated by our police since time immemorial. So what will need is total overhauling of our police force. Let a new ideology come in. Let officer be trained and retrained on the world wide acceptable policing code. SARS is not the problem, the whole police is a menace and an embarrassment to the country.

Its the country's leadership not the police that's the problem, policing in Nigeria 20 years ago was much better and civilized than today despite the fact that we had less graduates in the force in 2000 than in 2020.

Decency, civility, integrity cannot be taught in schools, its not a certificate thing.

As much as we all really want to #endsars, we need to be realistic.

If I'm not mistaken, there are nothing less than 10,000 sars officers accross the country.

We all want them relieved of thier jobs as part of endsars. Now what do you think would happen to the country and it's already weakened security if thousands of ex sars men with no jobs but knowledge of arms and ammunition are in the society.

The best is to reform the police entirely by re training them, paying them well, educating them and like someone suggested, some of them could be drafted into the army.

That’s what Nigerians don’t understand, while end sars protest is a reasonable way to demand justice from government SARS is a subject of bad leadership in government. Why did Nigerians chose SARS instead of asking for good governance holistically they still allowed theirselves to be use by the same corrupt politicians who are trying to cause distraction from the real issues.

With all due respect to the opinion of those clamouring for EndSARS, take it or leave it, there is certain percentage of criminal element among those protesting. They are not patriotic in their mind. they just want to see the end of SARs so as to continue with their crimes without hindrance.
Am very sure, if time will do us favour, one day, crime rate will definitely rise.
