They rather allowed Sharia civil laws in the constitution.

Northern Nigerians know this cause of the insecurity in the north, and by extension, the whole of Nigeria.

There is a list circulating online of names of police victims and there is not a single arewa name in it. Police in north fear the consequence of torturing you like they do southerners. In south there is no consequence when they carry out atrocities. The authorities know about these things, it is systemic.
