Who sent d thugs to attack protesters in Benin, Abuja, osogbo and Lagos at d same time actually intended to use it to first, intimidate protesters into retreating (since they felt using soldiers& police will be unpopular). Second, d ensuing chaos from thugs would have been a pretext to send in d military.
