People like you who scanvage all through the blogosphere to insist that nobody died at Lekki inspite of the overwhelming evidence will surely meet the Lekki treatment at the appointed time... Oyah! Quickly claim that.. |

PhiliptheArab:The bold is a lie. What's the volume of Niger's trade with Nigeria to warrant spending $1.9bn on? Niger can't boast of trade volume of Lagos alone. Compare the trade between Lagos and aba all the way to pH and see where true economic value lies. |

Does this means all Nigerian States have been linked by rail? Certainly no, but there's something fishy with this project. I pity Amaechi, by the time the results of what he's doing now begins to yield result, he may be out of power and he may realise that he was used to promote northern (Hausa) agenda as against the generality of Nigeria. Everything an Hausa man will do, he must have ethnic and religious undertone. 1 Like |

pieces18: Are you saying he is so daft not to see he is being used? He is just like his brother Wike, who woke up yesterday and tried to introduce a biafran slant to the on going protests. Was it not Wike who asked the media "are we biafrans"? after an APC meeting before Jonathan was removed from power? They magnify internal squabbles beyond comprehension and let those cloud their judgements... Buhari tells you there are no money to biuld eastern rail tracks but gets enough money to build the ones for Niger republic and Amaechi can't decipher the crude politics therein? The only thing there is that most probably he has been promised the presidency at a point. Which is the normal promise that northern politicians use to hold southern politicians in check.. 1 Like |

Rugaria:The pipeline project is a agreement between Four countries, Nigeria, Niger,Algeria and Morocco, to build a network of pipeline that will connect Africa to Europe, we are trying to get our foot back to the European market, currently Russia pipeline supply majority of Europe fuel and is cheeper for Europe to buy from Russia than Africa cause of the transportation cost,we are trying to cut the transportation costs by building a pipeline. Currently India is the only major market buying Nigeria oil and they are aggressively exploring for oil in the India ocean, so our time is running out, what Buhari is trying to do is a smart move, but people in Nigeria don't see or plan for the future. 1 Like |

Ibrahimmrfish: So along the lines, he will biuld 3 gas fired power stations in Abuja, Kaduna and Kano..., All with a capacity of almost 4000 MG watts of power...All fired from these same pipelines! Is it Morrocco, Russia and Tanganyika that prevented him from biulding similar gas powered stations at Imo and Abia states to be fed by the same pipelines? Imo and Abia being the home states of the Assa gas fields that will feed these lines?? I'm waiting for your answer.. |

GeneralKoko:Niger is one of the poorest countries in the world. Its population is 22m with about 80% poor. It's one of the countries prone to famine and receives one of the highest aid from the world food program. It's main export is groundnut. With this info, can you again compare Niger with Aba and pH in terms of trade volume? |

Have you tried to calculate which is more cheaper, convenient and feasible between taking it through those countries on land and through dense infrastructures estate management-wise??and taking it through like 10 countries of Benin republic,Togo,Senegal,Ghana,Liberia,Algeria and Morocco COASTLINEs, thereby giving more room for African markets In addition to the european target looking at it from the Binocular of inexpensive cost of right of way,low construction cost, and more gas availability for those African countries. I asked one of your type similar technical questions and he ran away like a paid FALSEHOOD PROPAGIST of the North. Kindly uphold your argument with engineering facts and project logic. |
