There was nothing the government can do to Endsars, those bunch of dimwits.Instead, they preferred to rather end the protests......its was like instructing an armed robber ,to send his gang members away and do the robbing alone without protection, kolewerk.

The summary is if you want to fix Sars ,you will have to fix every rotten government parastatal, because all are decayed.

SARS officers knows politicians are crooks and so they don't give a damn about the atrocities they commit, who is going to judge them?

they’re gradually changing the narrative to Unidentify Uniform men, instead of Nigeria military, something that can never change in Nigeria is the way media houses and journalists quickly change their perspectives.

Don't be deceived

Beware Nigerians. This is the time to know and understand the true identity of those who cause tribalism on here, they are paid agents, they are neither from east or west. They have more than twenty monikers, they would create tribal related topics and make tribal comments with different monikers to cause chaos between southerners. Though, they have no conscience but you can try to educate them or better ignore them. They are easy to identify, use your head brothers.

Also Be aware that tactics and plans has been deployed to cover up the massacre since all their efforts to break southern unity were not fruitful. They have created a lot of Facebook and Twitter accounts with Yoruba or Igbo names for this purpose, one of them is to post pictures or video of people who debunked being killed, those pictures were scripted and earlier been circulated for this purpose. They would discredit real occurrence and give it another title and narratives. Beware of the propaganda

They dominates this platform, they are agents of destruction. They posts mostly in the midnight. They have no resting time until they are able to convince their oppressors.

They are getting as good as the group who keep posting photoshopped pictures and highly exaggerated evidence/numbers in order to buttress their agendas or narrative underpinning their desire for anarchy....

Both teams are just as bad as each other.

Both groups should curb their excesses before a ban on freedom of speech is enacted.

Are you still calling the dj switch live video a photoshopped and the developed countries that intervened can't differentiate between real occurrence and photoshopped. You need to change your old way of doing things if you really want this country to develop. This current government rode on freedom of speech to power now you want to ban same freedom of speech you people benefits from, you can do that in the north but we will resist in south. Is not like the present government is doing better or you want everyone to be dumb like the paid agents? Do you people want to turn Nigeria to North Korea?

The protest was going on peacefully until the evil government came out with their devilish plan.

First they started dropped thugs at different locations to attack the peaceful protesters, when that did not work, they resorted to shooting and killing peaceful, armless protesters.

First the cameras were removed, then the lights were switched off, and later gunshots were heard.

The military in their characteristic nature, took away the dead bodies , and even combed the hospitals to see if there is any remaining evidences of dead people.

Then an army spokes person went on air to ignorantly say a video showing the military shooting armless protesters was "photoshopped". He doesn't even understand what Photoshop is all about.

They released their online miscreants and urchins to twist the narratives.

But am happy the international community is not as stupid as our leaders.

Even Sanwolu couldn't stand the pressure from CNN senior correspond Christine Amanpour.

Now he has admitted there was indeed a shooting ordered by the Nigerian military.

The international community will definitely respond to this genocide in due time.

Interesting times ahead.

How can you shoot at unarmed protesters bearing your flag?...These same people you run to when you seek for votes?? These same people who made you president, governor? These same people who patronize your toll gate?

Just because they seek for a better living standard; and you deem it fit to shoot at them?? The Government and every individual involved are answerable to this atrocity...

As at the time of incident, the NVR that recorded the incident was not installed at the toll plaza except the installer put it there which I doubt. There should have been an offsite recording. There are outdoor cameras installed at heights which required lift of tractor to remove. Switching off light does not prevent cameras from recording. I have explained this several times. Also, I said it took almost five days for victims to come out after Eniola Badmus denied being attacked. No verifiable victims till date despite several requests for them to come out.About four people that have spoken /declared missing , the claims. were wrongly constructed / fabricated as no hospital has removed bullet or shown evidence of receiving victims with bullet wound. On Wednesday, a Police officer told me he got a message that seven celebrities died in the attack. I asked for their names, he checked his phone, the message had been deleted.

In Lagos, since "ALI MUST GO " protest till this period, no antigovernment protester will hold Nigeria's flag, they will even burn it..Where did they get the Nigeria flags they claimed were given to protesters including children when soldiers arrived? Where and why were the Nigeria flags kept before the soldiers arrived? No protester has ever held Nigeria's flag at the tollgate several days before the incidence, why must it be when soldiers arrived. Where are the names (full bio data of the victims), pictures and family members of the victims. I ask these questions on Thursday morning.

Camera has nothing to do with investigation several days after incidence site has been vandalized even while TV reporters were at the site reporting incidents. The recorded data to be analyzed by NVR / Camera manufacturer and security experts are the most important objects here.

The hijacking of protest to settle widely known bitterness and hatred against Tinubu and the desecration of the traditional institution is highly unacceptable. The burning of BRT buses, TVC and The Nation Newspaper is highly painful and unacceptable.

The hijacking of the protest by the people who called Tinubu thievenubu and those who prefer DEATH to his becoming President and those who have hatred against Oba Akiolu (Oba of Lagos) because of his Lagoon statement before 2015 governorship election is the same scenario that happened in 1966 during NZEOGU COUP where a general coup became a sectional Coup.

The Counter coup of TY Danjuma where Adekunle Fajuyi refused the killing of Aguiyi Ironsi being the Host and had to die with his visitor is typical of Yoruba spirit but that is cowardice to the IBOs. This is the same scenario that just happened in Lagos.

After the great damage in Lagos, they are now having skirmishes of destruction in their places to give it a general look.

Future protests in Lagos must pass through several hurdles.

Hello Mazi,

I've broken your convo into bits

Addressing the 1st..
In my initial post, I mentioned no names.. But as you've decided to mention one of the authors of the several videos and posts, I'll address this.

My perusal will suggest that some posts were made to be as inflammatory as possible. The thread of inconsistencies in their recollections was alarming. The only vid I found relatively robust and reflective of a true assessment of the events of that fateful night was that of a man called ojekabi supported by the newscaster Philip

Regarding events of the night.. There are many questions, some of which are--
1. Was the army called in
2. By whom
3. Who was the commander
4. Where they asked to shoot or to scare away the protesters
5. Were they attacked by the protesters
6. At what point did the upward trajectory of shots into the air become levelled at protesters
6b. Was live ammunition used.. as denounced by Ret Col Stan-Labor
7. When did the ambulances get to the scene
8. Who called them and from which hospitals
9. Why were they not allowed in.. Ongoing shooting or..other reasons
10. The verified videos of the shot dead victims, where are the families now??
Please don't mention Okechukwu, a known IPOB comrade who by photo evidence and FB timelines, unfortunately died in a motor cycle accident - may his soul rip!!
11. Who was still shooting all through the night if any till 6.30am the following day after Brig Gen Omata had taken his men away.. Where is Lt Col OS Bello the original leader at the moment??

Foreign governments are interested because of some of these questions have raised-- human rights law contraventions not necessarily whether it's 1,2,67 or 78 people that died.. ****Died!! ... not injured that night.****

The IPOB crew by spreading inflammatory statements/pictures that are later found to be false are only perpetuating the myth that nothing or something minimal happened that night.....?
That will also by default taint any other accusations of human rights law contraventions, raising the question of probability of occurrence and or veracity of recounted events.......
That is the huge fallout from this slippery slope they've adopted. In addition to the ongoing looting and destruction.

A pyrrhic victory, if at all!!!

As they tried to hijack the original #ENDSARS protests to support their purpose, other groups or personal interests will hijack the confusion and anarchy they are so desperately trying to create to support their agendas. The Oba's Palace invasion is a clear example.

What you find in most of the debates(or preferably arguments) is that people are often mixing all the questions up!!! We can't get clear answers if there are no clear questions to guide us.. This leads to more distrust with a return to further increasing the divide alongst political, tribal and religious lines.

Something that was surprisingly minimised during the time of the original protest.

To the 2nd.
I completely agree.. To get new results, you can not continue to do things like before

To the 3rd

Resistance or not, it's often very difficult to unwind certain actions!! ... That's why the adage... Prevention is better than cure.. Is rather popular. It was a near miss at enactment a few months ago, let's not go back on the slippery trajectory.

Let us be guided
And be wise in these times

God bless us all.

I witnessed the protests on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, a week before the Tuesday the incident happened. I only saw placards with various inscription about Endsars, good governance and Buhari must resign. At the begining, before the protest was hijacked, it was possible for a government sponsored NGO to carry Nigeria flags but not the one I saw and which I participated.
