Me personally; i'd want a normal messaging option on nairaland....

I mean; not the regular "***** would like to send you a message bla bla bla"

i would like direct messaging with active status e.t.c not the email messaging.....

I will want the mods to start deleting senseless treads and senseless comments on romance section, especially the nonsense treads they create about women.

My ask would be from the users of the platform. I would love if people can be mature by not insulting people when they give their own opinions on certain issues. The lashings are a huge culture shock for new users
A section for bookclub we're recommended books are given and reviews can be shared

Everyone is entitled and permitted to post whatever he/she wants. So deleting a post about a particular gender isn't fair and it does not make sense

About the insults; they are just too much, and they always bring tribalism into every conversation.

I think i'll make a different thread for that

You don't post or create a tread at the demerit of other people feelings, you don't post or create a tread that will hurt others, how can someone create a topic just to call women useless, is that not madness? when mods start deleting stupid treads and comments then they will start having sense.

I wish NL could update their site.
Add better emojis and make it user friendly
Plus if there’s a like button there should be an unlike button right?

Please there’s something called freedom of speech
Whether it hurts someone or not they’re exercising their rights!

Let people exercise freedom of speech.
If someone makes a thread that offends you then you don’t have to engage it
Not every topic can be in your Favour. So it will be wrong for mods to delete a post because of one person who finds it insulting.

If you want threads to be deleted then seun must add a report button so when a thread is reported the mods can delete it but if not.
Let people post whatever abeg

Freedom of expression doesn’t give you the right to abuse and insult others. When you engage in such intentional provocation, expect a reaction where things may spiral out of control. Never forget that freedom comes with responsibility. Ethical and moral standards must remain!

Anyway. What were the two updates Kobicove?
