A couple of questions;
What sort of crowds? Almajiri's or educated people? Bigots or true Nigerians? grin

Crowd pulling does not equate popularity and cannot win you an election.

Buhari seems to be pulling the most crowd.

The BB rallies are the most crowded, Ribadu comes secodn and GEJ comes a distant 3rd considering the empty stands at his ralies in Lagos/Kaduna/Gombe/Adamawa etc.

But can we really say Ribadu is pulling crowd? The below is my analysis.

ACN Lagos Rally: This was a performing ACN governor organised rally, not presidential rally. Ribadu was only there to show support. Most of the people there came there because of fashola and probably Tinubu. Let Ribadu come to Lagos for presidential rally and we will see if the man can really pull crowd in Lagos.

Benue Rally: Again, it was the flag of the ACN gubernatorial candidate there - the people of the state are yearning for a brake in the state. ACN chieftains were only there to show support.

In Akwa Nbom: It was also a gubernatorial flag off campaign, not a presidential campaign - Ribadu and Tinubu were only there to show support for the candidate of their party - the people of this state also want a brake from PDP.

The above tells you why Ribadu's campaign has not been consistent like the other candidates - he goes to where the ACN candidate is popular to join the candidate's rally. In Benue state, Ribadu can't record 15% of the total presidential votes.

If you look at Buhari's campaign, he moves from one region to another region (following his presidential campaign timetable) and then from state to state in that order. From the way people troop to the airports, entrance into the cities to receive him, there is no doubt that, Buhari has got not rival in this coming election. The samething will happen when the BB train storms Lagos on Tuesday.
