Read Dreams Die First by Harold Robbins a long time ago. Still one of my best. By the way, have you guys read any of the Perry Mason case stories by Stanley Erle Gardner? Some of my collection are: The Case of the Lucky Loser The Case of the Drowsy Mosquito The Case of the Half-Wakened Wife The Case of the Backward Mule The Case of the Angry Mourner The Case of the Green-Eyed Sister The Case of the Waylaid Wolf The Case of the Horrifield Heirs The Case of the One-Eyed Witness The Case of the Stuttering Bishop The Case of the Silent Partner The Case of the Glamorous Ghost The Case of the Daring Divorcee The Case of the Velvet Claws The Case of the Singing Skirt The Case of the Curious Bride

I can't forget these few I can remember at the moment. I've read a whole lot of interesting books but these few keep coming back to me anytime I'm listing my favourite books of all time. Presumed Innocent - Scott Turow Papillon - Henri Charriere Deception Point - Dan Brown Hostile Witness - William Lashner Matarese Circle - Robert Ludlum A Thin Dark Line - Tami Hoag Stealing Faces - Michael Prescott The Cobra Event - Richard Preston Roots - Alex Hailey By the way, The Cobra Event is one of the most dramatic, heart-stopping books I've ever read. The details of the deaths are shocking, you wont want to read on. A brilliant bestseller. To anyone who hasn't read it, please do. |

Re: Some Interesting Books You Have Read by BellaRouge(f): 2:38am On Apr 02, 2006 |
I dont really remember, I just know that it made me cry. From what I remember, it was about an African American girl who wished she was white. She was a victim of sexual abuse from her father and her mother did nothing to stop it! At the end of the book, she becomes crazy (literally!). She was talking to herself, she thought she was white. It was just very, very sad! I bet you'd cry if you read it |
