Gbawe:

Your obvious bias is off-putting . At least he is "throwing around facts" rather than vague generalisations . In the books of most balanced folks , "throwing facts around" is certainly better than glossing over issues with generic talk that expose a lack of detailed knowledge.

Calm down. Buhari is not doing well either.

Shekarau is the only person who is performing well in this debate.

OOOH! Buhari!!! Nooooooo!!! What are U saying! Everybody is laughing at you!!
Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by Pataki: 7:57pm On Mar 18, 2011
Ribadu needs to calm his ass down.

And the audience needs to calm down too! Always clapping at every statement. Very lame!
Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by Genbuhari3: 7:58pm On Mar 18, 2011
Buhari has not changed!
Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by EzeUche2(m): 7:58pm On Mar 18, 2011
Someone told Ribadu to soften his voice.  grin

Seun:

What did SHerakau say about power?  I missed it.

He said nothing basically. Just  the usual random speech
Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by Genbuhari3: 7:59pm On Mar 18, 2011
Buhari is right. we need to know where we are coming from to know where we are going to
Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by PapaBrowne(m): 7:59pm On Mar 18, 2011
Ribadu thank you!! Buhari's solution to our power problem is to look at what PDP has done in the last 12 years!! I am soo disappointed in Buhari!! He knows nothing about power!!

fxtopedia:

Hmmmm, GEJ is no where to be found,  LMAO
You need to TELL US what you mean by SPADE!

Is it not obvious from my post? The debate is just a set-up. Very disappointing that the much loved GEJ is absent. And for a presidential debate, the first set of questions asked were totally off-point considering that the one man who has a lot of questions to answer as regards "careless previous statements" is absent. Get it?

Shekarau: "one thing is to plan and another thing is to sincerely execute the plan"- on PDP plans to privatize power #PresidentialDebate #NN24

Buhari promises to investigate previous governments if elected the President. #PowerSupply #PresidentialDebate #NN24
Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by Pataki: 8:00pm On Mar 18, 2011
I think Ribadu is quite sound on the power sector.

He is talking really well on that aspect. I give it to him. I am not impressed with how Buhari responded though.
Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by PapaBrowne(m): 8:00pm On Mar 18, 2011
Thank you Ribadu!! Thank you!! Yiou know something about power!!

Thump up to Ribadu on the Power Sector
Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by Zechy09: 8:01pm On Mar 18, 2011
Where are the BUHARI supporters? he is embarrassing himself , he cannot answer questions on power. He just kept saying that they will find out what happened to the money invested in the power sector without saying how to make the sector attractive to investors, I wish Goodluck came because from what i can see it is only Ribadu that can debate him intelligently.
Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by Genbuhari3: 8:02pm On Mar 18, 2011
i agree with Ribadu on that one.

Papabrowne,

Where is Clueless Jonathan. Even Buhari is not doing so well, he had courage to show his face!

we are here.

Buhari is known for infrastructural development and he said specifically they are going to revamp the old power stations instead of going about building new ones
Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by EzeUche2(m): 8:04pm On Mar 18, 2011
Shekarau is making SENSE!

It is a pleasure to look at his poise and confidence as he approaches a question.

Pls forget about Jonathan, he is not here !! He might lose my vote on that count!! I am thinking Shekarau!! The guy is sooo impressive!!

Ribadu is definitely an attack dog.  undecided
Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by Gbawe: 8:08pm On Mar 18, 2011
Ribadu's answer on power was , by far , the best. No blame game simply forward planning and action.
Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by Genbuhari3: 8:08pm On Mar 18, 2011
Buhari's selling point is integrity, nothing else
Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by Pataki: 8:08pm On Mar 18, 2011
Ribadu is talking rubbish on the economy!

I am not impressed!
Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by temmytanny(m): 8:09pm On Mar 18, 2011
Now i knos GEJ has nothing to offer. So far the 3 are proving some points. Ribadu is aggressive, sekarau is calm while Buhari is cautious about his statements
Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by ekubear1: 8:09pm On Mar 18, 2011
None of them have impressed me so far.
