According to a video clip uploaded on twitter by Mr Kayode Ogundamisi, a former councillor in Lagos State was seen pushing truck. His name is Mr Anibaba aka Shile Burger. He claimed to have represented Ajah and its environ during the military regime of General Gbadamosi Babangida.

Can this happen in Nigeria of today? Can a councillor be pushing his cow's feed by himself?

He said he was earning #500 as salary then and pays tax from it.

I’m trying to understand what he’s trying to justify. That if you hold a political position, afterwards your life is meant to be wretched or moderate? Well to some extent after holding public office you’re not meant to be living a life of affluence unless you were wealthy before attaining the position but if you entered the system to change your standard of living at the detriment of the people then you’re callous. But Even if he was collecting 500naira back then. His life shouldn’t have turned out this bad. He might’ve made bad investment. 500niara back then wasn’t such a bad sum.
