Do that very fast, because I don't know how you would beat this mad formation.

The only area where we would get a close duel is Education, Achebe Sold more books than Soyinka but Soyinka won a nobel laureate.

Op is just being silly...

There better states like Imo, Anambra, Enugu, Kano, Kaduna, Delta etc.

You think it is by making noise, you are talking as if your state is the only state with former president, billionaire, top celebrity both locally and internationally(I know you don't have this), Scholar, renowned scientist known locally and internationally(you don't have this), indigene with high rank position in another country etc.

Rubbish !

Only Dangote from the north will put all those paupers up there in his pocket and there will still be space to add tinubu inside the same pocket grin
sir you're typing in the nonsense, firstly op isn't talking about wealth only, but all human area of endeavors.

secondly, According to Forbes, Dangote is worth $10B

Adenuga is worth $8B

Adebayo Ogunlesi is worth nothing less than $3B, there is no official figure for him on Forbes, he bought the second largest airport in UK at 1b dollar... let's assume he's worth 3b dollars.

can you see that the combined wealth of Adenuga and Ogunlesi is more than Dangote's?

hence your assertion is invalid..

and is Dangote the only notable person in Kano?

Firstly, University of Ilorin has always been the most short after University for the past few years, Uniben has never hold that record.

Ogun state is the Educational hub of Nigeria, it has 15 universities, Osun and Oyo are even more of Educational hub than Edo, Osun and Oyo has 9 universities each, it's more and better than Edo.

University of Ibadan, University of Lagos, OAU medical schools are the best in Nigeria.

University of Ibadan and OAU has been producing the best law students, this year alone, there were just 5 first class law students in Nigeria law school and 3 of them are from University of Ibadan.

the EndSARS protest started in the town of Ughelli, Delta State (this is not really an achievement)

the free Education of 1955 in Western Nigeria was the first of it kind in Nigeria.

the list of notable people from Edo are not worthy enough to be compared with Ogun..... it's not even close, make una judge am urself nah.

Has to be Ogun or Anambra. Two blessed states.

Whether a ranking says Ogun or Anambra shouldn't matter. But then ofc there's the question of the intent of the OP and the commenters to factor.... NL might as well have an age restriction feature. But I doubt that will help.

Blessings to Ogun, Anambra, Osun, Imo, Abia, Ekiti, Ondo, Edo and Oyo. Those states have produced the most for Naija. With regards to bragging rights. Whenever u brag about Nigerian feats. Chances are that the individuals are from the above states.
