Badagry is one of my favourite tourist cities in Nigeria. It's a place I can never get tired of visiting. Badagry has a lot of history about Nigeria and the slave trade. it is often a place many shy away from because it reminds us of the pains and injustice we suffered from the colonial masters.

It helps you appreciate freedom and Nigerian independence.

The structure was built in 1863. In 2002 it was inaugurated by Senator Bola Ahmed during the Black Heritage Festival. It was the first Colonial administrative building.

So funny @ facilitators of slave trade. What a facilitator...

I heard a voice in the background say ”sorry...”

Did they stop you from videoing? I was quite surprised you could even make a video in the museum.

Nice video. Keep it up.

The end is near

After the fall of jerusalem

The white devils (Romans) came and took the remnants of Judah captive

But thank God we are back to our land after many years in slavery

God will punish the Romans (Europeans)

They will come again and very soon !!!

Badagry reeks of all features of the trans-Atlantic slavery era. When my aunt late husband took me to visit some historical sites in the town in 2016, I really wept because of how humanity were treated by these western imperialist especially @ the slaves harbour-"place of no return." Gosh!

Nice place to behold. Great work there!

Unfortunately, Africa is still in boundage but not with a chain anymore.

So clear when you understand the difference between possession and ownership.
