Nigerian army R & D has made significant progress and has locally developed Nigeria first helicopter code named NAHP-01 . It is a first step towards developing future helicopters locally in Nigeria. It is a two bladed helicopter with a tail rotor. It can seat one military pilot. Nigeria has arrived in the world aviation scene with indigenous technology. Hopefully within a decade we will have upgraded it to its best version and have newer models.
