Have u noticed China is super happy and beaming ear to ear now Trump is gone. They will now dominate trade and relegate others not obviously cos they are sleekly slimmy whatever bt Systematically.

America and Biden better wake up! The party is over. Get to work already!!!! undecided

Democrats Stay woke!
You are right on this, that is what China was praying for, they wanted trump to lose so that they carry out there plans viciously, Biden just have to be smart if not, those people will do anything in order to be the super power of the world, these days they plant spy on their gadgets, softwares and apps, same reason why trump wanted to ban Tiktok in US but I don't know if he truly accomplished that..

I was arguing this with my friend, there is nothing the black do, that whites don't do, and vise versa. There is nothing like black mentality, we are all humans. What some black presidents did is the same thing Donald Trump, Russia, China and many other former Asian presidents are doing/did. So let's stop blasting our race and ass-licking their race, see them claiming our Okonjo Iweala, even from her name, it's so clear that she's a Nigerian.
Ignoramus, she has American citizenship, she's also American

Irritates me how the Biden administration keeps focusing on who is the first of which race or gender to do this and that. How about just pick who is the most competent person for the job regardless of race or gender? It’s a form of reverse racism if you ask me.
They are creating history while people like you overthink things

Whatever the case, I'm sure President Biden would not jeopardize the interest of USA on the altar of "first black woman to lead WTO".

" First black woman to lead WTO" would not help anybody but herself and her family.
First black American woman, not first black woman

So if she emerges DG, there would be no link to Nigeria?

Any which way, she is still Aunty Ngozi or Mummy Jnr to us grin

Goodluck to her. kiss
Re: WTO: US Leaders Write Biden To Back Okonjo-Iweala by Adlac(m): 4:14pm On Jan 24, 2021
You need to ask who presented her to the contest.

Nigeria did within the west Africa angle before she qualifies to vye for the Global stage.

I trust Biden to support her and do the right thing.... she's far too qualified than the Korean woman

Thank God covid 19 made them shift the date of DG WTO voting, Trump would have ruined her chances

don't let anybody deceive u,no doubt Nigeria has an image but it's not respected because of the massive corruption. If not for her reputation in WB do u think she could have even stand a chance.
Do u think she's the only reputable Nigerian? Nigeria is much more than an individual. US systematically protect corrupt govt officials in Africa by giving them citizenship and always allow laundered African treasury into their nation, UK systematically cover corrupt African officials and in fact some British claim that their country is built by African corruption and the same goes to France and Switzerland and many other nations that command respect in the world. What are u telling me now.

She will be named a DG as an American and not a Nigerian. That's because we don't like ourselves and countries that value people will always swoop on them. Eg Anthony Joshua fights as a Briton but not a Nigerian

Well, her nationality will always say Nigerian-American. This is not some international sporting event where she must represent a particular country.

Don't use examples of what you have no knowledge of!

Anthony Joshua's came back and did his best to represent Nigeria but he didnt bribe his way through so he wasn't given a slot!

aribisala0:
Because we don't like ourselves? What kind of sentimental nonsensical victimhood is this?

Did Nigeria not support her?

Not just support

NIGERIA NOMINATED HER
Why always playing victim?
Anthony Joshua fights as a Briton because he grew up there and never entered a boxing gym in Nigeria

I never said that she will represent another country but will always do the bidding of USA more than Nigeria

In my view; the US is by far the world's largest economy. Even if she was never a US citizen, America would still have more influence on world trade than Nigeria. Again, to a great extent, African as a whole has never really been a threat to the US, so I don't think she'd really be torn between the bidding of the two countries. Assuming she was a Chinese with American citizenship, that's where the issue of whose bidding to follow would arise. I believe getting the US citizenship was a strategic move and what we read here is the result.

lmao. You think Harris propelled Biden to victory? Someone that was polling at 0 during the primary and dropped out before her home state of California even voted? Someone that most blacks don’t even like? Biden was always going to win the black vote regardless because blacks always almost uniformly vote for the democrat candidate. Bidens real first choice was Amy Klobuchar but he picked Harris because of intersectional pressure he was getting from the democrat party leadership to pick a woman of color, Any woman of color, and Harris was the most high profile of them all. Even then he was leaning towards Susan Rice but her Benghazi scandal during the Obama administration made her seem like a liability. Bro most rank and file democrat voters don’t like Harris. They think she’s a phony and neoliberal. Read for yourself

yeah correct. kamala Harris played no part in biden's victory. she was polling 1% before she dropped out

it’s arguable he could have won by a wider margin if he picked a white woman like Klobuchar.

use your brain brother, over the years, America has endorsed many American WTO aspirants, non has ever won, Okonjo Iweala would be the first person with American citizenship to win. check the history of WTO, American leaders have tried several times to put an American, but were never successful, Buhari was the first to endorse her, and that was what kept her strong and moving. you don't need America's endorsement to win, America only have 1 vote, just like Nigeria
