Herdsmen Crisis: Why Tinubu Is Afraid To Speak Up – Shehu Sani by Gjrich(m): 3:17pm On Feb 04, 2021
Former Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani, has revealed why the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, is mum over the ongoing crisis rocking Southwest region.

Recall that some southwest leaders had issued quit notice to Fulani herdsmen in the area.

The development led to serious crisis in Oyo State, with some feared dead and many valuables reportedly destroyed.

In all the development, Tinubu, who is said to be eyeing the presidency in 2023 has maintained sealed lips, a development Sani believes, was deliberate.

According to Sani, if Tinubu, fondly called the Jagaban speaks up, it may cost him many things, including his cap and shoes.

He tweeted, “If the Jagaban opposes eviction, he will lose his shoes; if the Jagaban supports eviction, he will lose his cap.
Just wear your thick mask and off your phone our leader.”

Ironically, Tinubu value his "shoes" and "caps" over the lives and properties of innocent Yorubas?

Well, not surprised sha. Someone that hypnotized Lagosians for over a decade can do anything for power.

Dear Omoluabis, choose your leaders well, Sunday Igboho is your true leader.

Does this qualify one as a true leader?

Let me let you all on the know. The great Napoleon led from the front, the same applies to Alexander the great, and in contemporary time, Eisenhower - he served well in the world war, and the people elevated him to serve as their president. What of Nelson Mandela?

You see, the truth is that Nigerians have no leaders, because to lead means you have to be at the forefront where the battle is hot.

Bola Tinubu never measure up in any of the afore hence grossly unfit to be called a leader.A man that cant voice out now against his slavemasters terrorizing & killing his people because he wants to be the president? So disgusting.

Dear Hausa, Dear North:
Terrorist FULANI elements both domestic & foreign are bringing your name to disrepute. This evil they do in Nigeria, they’re doing it in your name. Stop them before they set you up for the kill.
Fish those terrorists and bandits out before
they set you up
Your silence/inaction makes you complicit.
If you are happy with
Rapist herdsmen
Kidnapper herdsmen
Terrorists hersdmen
We in the the south won’t tolerate
Raping and killing of our people

THANK YOU!

It's a lost battle already because those guys don't have any plan of putting him or any Southerner at the helm..better to just speak in favor of his kinsmen and regain some local respect instead of losing both locally and nationallyundecided

Tiunbu doesn't need to talk on this issue. The only thing he can say is to charge the governors to maintain law and order in their respective states.

Nonsense
We need to arrest these problem b4 it gets out of hand.
-most of the bandits are Fulani(true)
-most of the kidnapping are done by fulani(true)
-the farmers-herders clash also involve them(true
But what we should know is that not all fulani are criminals. Yes we have the wright to voice out our frustration but please we should do the right thing and not allow a problem grow into serious disaster. The eviction of all fulanis will grow to all northerners which will sparkle a retaliation targeting yorubas. At the end we all loss while the evil onces among the fulanis that start all of these madness will have nothing to loss. They live in these kind of chaotic environment normally.but you and I have alot to loss. Let's use our senses not first. Last time I checked, the fulanis dominated areas are the worst hit by these crisis.

May the memory of Chief Jeremiah Obafemi Oyeniyi Awolowo continue to rest in peace.

Baba Awo never shy from saying the truth when needed most. His truthfulness cost/denied him the plum seat of power (president) in Nigeria.

The failure of him to mount that plum national seat is the price we are paying today. People like Tinubu are after power and not service to humanity.

It still baffles me how someone who raped Lagos for 8 years is now being expected to be a catalyst of change. History of how Prof. Yemi Oshinbajo would take the FG to court over structural feud will never be erased.

It's the same Prof. that has since mute since tasting power. Anyone who fail to speak up and take decisive action while afar should not be trusted with the vault.

Sometimes,I am surprised why Igbos are so obsessed with the Yorubas so much. I think at times that it is because they rever and respect the Yorubas because of their achievements and positive escapades but it is turning to another thing o.Azikiwe,Achebe,Ojukwu etc all looked up to Yorubas and aspired to be great like them even Ojukwu selected a Yoruba,Banjo to lead millions of Igbos in a situation of life and death.
The respect is currently turning to deep envy, jealousy and hatred from Igbos.May God save us all.Fulanis also perpetrating their evil.Oh God,save us as we decimate the cowards.

who still expects anything from the politicians, who mostly are there for their personal benefits.

where is patriotism? Where is sense of national/tribal pride?

What concerns us now is how to deal with the issue of open grazing, and the conquest ambition of the cattle herders.

We the masses have to get organised and stand up against a common enemy. The government and kings have proven unreliable. Many of them are even receiving payments and other benefits from the government and the herders.

If they care, they would have done something tangible since. But we can all see what they are doing and saying, directly and indirectly.

So, let's rise up. Let us do anything in our capacity, such as Intellectual warfare, legal warfare, social media warfare, prayer warfare, Sunday Ighoho-ism, civil rallies, civil disobedience, and so on.

Rise up and do something.

God is on our side, and victory is ours.
