Chai! This is unfortunate and it evidences the lack of preparedness by the leadership of this country. In fact, by three months before this man was due for retirement, we should have known the next man, or the president should have hinted the next man/woman and prepare the person for leadership of the police. Extending an tenure for three months even after the tenure had lapsed is tinkering with our laws. This one that sensitive officer holders tenures are extended, I hope there won't be further tinkering with our laws, particularly the constitution (on extension of tenure)? I am just saying my own!
