At this age, a bird should consume 66 gram or 70 gram of feed.
Multiple this by the amount of birds then, you will know how many kg they will consume.

They are Lohman Brown's, I haven't really weighed them but I can say they average between 1.2kg-1.4kg

Underweight. 1.2/1.4kg should be at week 17/18.

Turks & EMMAACHILE, thanks sirs for your concern, I was unable to get the drugs prescribed, however, a vet in one of the stores gave me V-ox(Animal care product), it worked on some but seems some were already immuned to some of the drugs, so not all responded to it, i eventually resorted to Neeme(Dogoyaro) leaf, everyone of them recovered, while the few that didnt were isolated from the flock.
They are now doing fine. Thanks once again, I'm sorry this came late.

Great! Organic all the way. One thing you should know is this; once drug resistance sets in, treating a particular ailment becomes a problem.

i boiled it, then pour in a keg, i also add vinegar to it.
i put the leaves also in it.
on dosage, i study their reaction, i wasnt given a definite prescription on its administration, so i do monitor them, i reduce and add when necessary, but you can start with 2ml to 1lt of water.

it act as a cleaning/healing agent in the system, the fruity type is more advisable than the water(distilled) type.
NB: anything you are giving, kindly watch their reaction as excess affects them irrespective of how good or effective such is.
i killed a bird that looks very healthy in weight but having severe temperature, i discovered excess fat in it which i think was a result of the things i used(milk) to increase egg size.
