Why pull people into the congested city?

Why not continue with the Greater Port Harcourt Master plan and connect some LGA with bridges?

Why not build a short bridge to connect Iwofe to Kalabari kingdom or Okirika by refinery to Abuloma to ease the traffic on Akpajo?

Or an over head bridge on Akpajo and Refinery junction where people spend hours in traffic.

Can't the RVSG build its own 4th Mainland bridge to connect PH directly to Bonny LGA?

Wike dey craze.
He wants to squeeze in another flyover at waterlines junction cool
with so many uncompleted inner roads scattered all over Port Harcourt.

All these pettiness needs to stop this 2021. You feel you're rewarding the citizens with dividends of democracy based on one reason or another. Their very own commonwealth for that matter!
NASA has successfully deployed an autonomous helicopter and drone workstation in Mars where it takes about 20 minutes to recieve instructions from earth. So any emergency, yet critical decision has to be made by AI before human interactions come in.
Here at home, we are cursed with Buhari who thinks it's best to grant amnesty to bandits and allow cows roam the streets freely. And the likes of this one who feels that he should reward the citizens with a flyover. He's one of the top performers though, which is sad.

My broda , me I tire for dis Wike o. Dis is totally unnecessary, at Olu obasanjo for dat mata. People of River state are hungry, no employment, no promotion since he assumed power, no minimum wage, the education and health sector is nothing to write home about, he has refused to pay pensioners, even after he got 79 billion, I jus tir, abi the people will drive on empty stomach on the fly over? There are communities in River state that needs road to cross their farm produce, must everything be situated in Obioakpor?

The South south and south east have this women group thing in common. They always adorn that with colourful music and dance steps.
They are the real entertainers. No matter how these pop artists make waves in Lagos, back home, when serious events happen or your state need representation outside Nigeria or within, it's still these cultural troupes.

Just listen to anyhow talk, "you are rewarding people with flyover" because it is your personal money you are using to build them abi? See how people are celebrating 'flagoff' of ordinary flyover in 2021........ angry

Yes he is rewarding them with Flyovers for standing for him because that was the reason they voted for him not like your state that your Governor has stolen the money and nothing to show for being a Governor

Talking about development, Rivers state is a city state.

Almost 70% per cent of the government development is concentrated there in Port Harcourt.

Development should be extended to the riverine community.

Good one my brother. Third mainland and the proposed fourth mainland bridge's are federal government project. Doing a bridge from pH to Bonny island. Suppose to be federal government initiatives. I don't think that Rivers State government can handle that. Yes, of linking iwofe. That's what I have been expecting every governor in Rivers State to do. During raining season. I know how people suffer. Greaterposed to be working now.

The trio of Odili, Wike and Amaechi never showed any commitment in adhering to the master plan as conceived by the first generation leaders in Rivers state. The PABOD blueprint was predicated on the aspiration to have 5 cities in Rivers state. The cities are Port Harcourt, Ahoada, Bonny, Ogoni and Degema.

As for Amaechi rather than adhering to the PABOD blueprint created his own dubbed "The Greater Port Harcourt" which only ended up opening up his Ikwerre LGA before Wike threw a spanner into it.

The truth is fly overs being built by this present administration is a strategic move at shoring the voting strength of his Ikwerre ethnic group. Wike wants Port Harcourt and Obio/Akpor to be the center of gravity. If not how can Port Harcourt be a one city state after over 54 years of Statehood?

Even Akwa Ibom that isn't a match for Rivers state has three modern cities.

I guess his focus is selfish that why institutions like rssda has become moribund under his supervision, this is an agency that improve lives of several riverians. If the people are in penury because of joblessness who will drive on the build road infrastructure. This is a man whose campaign was hinged on stomach infrastructure during its campaign... though part of this situation, I blame the house of assembly.
