This is why we trust Jagaban, rather than to be emotional he knows that Fulani cannot do all these things. Any time there is violence, one false report will be made blaming Fulani and before you know it there will be attacks on Fulani.

This is why ranching is the only solution. Farmers will have their land and Fulani will have their areas. Southerners live in Kano, why can't Fulani live in the SW?

People need to see reason.

Thank you brother for defending we the fulanis, we will reward u and Asiwaju at the right time

I don't understand why people can't be killing them secretly if they can't kill them back openly.

When you see them on your farmlands you slaughter them inside the bushes there.

How do we know Fulani did this? This is propaganda designed to make people hate Fulani. We should pass laws against such reports unless proper evidence is revealed.

If we don't take care people will push Fulani to the wall and then everyone will be happy because they will finally succeed in making the Fulani into the monsters they've claimed Fulani are....

A word is enough for the wise...

This is not something to brag about, many Fulani have lost lives and property in the East.

If care is not taken Fulani will simply not return.

Igbo do business, and understand supply and demand. If this continues, the supply of beef in the East will be almost zero, and prices will sore.... simply business of supply and demand.

The funny thing is, many attacks on Fulani take place in the East and go unreported. Whole communities have disappeared and only burnt dwellings remain, where are the people who used to occupy those places?

There is an underground attack on Fulani, and later Igbo will say it is them who is marginalized.

Igbo can't be both victim and aggressors ...

Uuh! I challenge you today to tell me one fight in Nigeria that you witnessed that Igbos started. We hardly start a fight, but we don't run away from fights.

There's no place in the world, a people just come and go into other people's property without permission, as such the owner has a right to evict you there out rightly.

Trespass is a criminal offense.

"Fulani should be given areas to ranch cattle"- Are these fulanis going to buy, rent or lease this areas to ranch? Can other tribes be given free lands in the north to do their business. Your reasoning is that your Fulani brothers are superior citizens, and they can come to any state in the south and acquire free land that even the indigenes cannot get for free.
You are a leader in hypocrisy. You are evil and dishonest and people like you are the real enemies of peace in Nigeria.

How are we sure that these "reports" are even accurate? Many of these stories are created to paint the Fulani as bad to justify attacks on peaceful communities living in the SW.

We are all Nigerians and can live anywhere in this our country. Instead of living as brothers people will attack others in the state that we all share.

The only solution is for ranching to be implemented anywhere there is trouble, that way everyone will know their side.

Now is the time for serious implementation of ranching. Fulani will have their space and farmers will have their space, clearly demarcated so there is no conflict. We can't continue like this... very sad..

The problem is the propaganda, Fulani are peacefully residing in forests and selling cattle to the people of the SW, however due to tribalism, empty forests have now become the topic of contention.

Herders only attack when they have been attacked. When in history have these herders attacked first. The problem is that the media only covers reprisal attacks done by the Fulani but doesn't cover the hundreds of Fulani who have lost their lives in the SW, without even so much as an apology from those governors.

We are one Nigeria and Nigerians must have the right to live and work anywhere in this great nation.

are you a wild animal? Why do you think it's normal to stay in forest.of course we all know the reason- to perpetuate evil

It is people like you who make peace impossible. We are all Nigerians, if you want you can move to Kaduna or Kano and be unmolested, but if a Fulani man uses a forest that no one is using, then everyone will use that as a chance to attack them. Be careful as those from the SW also live in the North...

Are these lands not empty? Who is using an empty bush, it is only when Fulani begin to use it that tribalism will show its ugly face. If Yoruba used these very same bushes no one will say anything, but because they are from a different tribe, wahala must show....

We are all Nigerians, if you like, move to any forest in the North and you will live without molestation.

Why are innocent Fulani being assaulted and harmed for occupying empty forest that those in the SW don't even want to occupy?

We need to do away with institutionalized tribalism like "state of origin" and the like. A Fulani born in Ondo in Fulani culture is from Ondo, but due to tribalism he will permanently be viewed as an outsider to his very own home.

Really? can a yoruba or ibo man move to Kano forest and begin to kill Hausa Farmers in the way and manner farmers are being killed in the south?

"Are these lands not empty? -You are an animal! why don't they go to the vast empty lands in the north and do as they like, and harbour foreign Fulani terrorist among themselves there?
Is there anything like empty land without an individual, community or government owing it?
When Fulani live in the towns and in peace with the people, nobody disturbs them.
Since Buhari came to power and many of them including their foreign kinsmen were armed with sophisticated weapons, they feel they can do as they like to their host communities without any repercussions.
Many of you don't like the truth. you hide behind the slogan of "one Nigeria" to propagate your wicked and bloody agenda.

So Fulani go through the trouble of bringing cows all the way to your home state so you can enjoy beef, and all you can do is complain. If Fulani had to buy space in the bush, the cost of beef will skyrocket.

Let us use common sense. Nigerians are already suffering an you are here calling for the price of beef to increase, you clearly don't care about the needs of the people...

"Let us use common sense"- unfortunately you don't have common sense!
So you think the immediate problem of southern Nigerians is about eating cheap beef? Wow! what a way to reason. So, your people should be given free land, pay no tax, so that they can eat cheap beef? Has beef ever been cheap? There are many people that don't eat and don't need the beef.
And when you live on this land in the bushes. making easy money and not paying tax, you became so comfortable and started inviting your terrorist brothers to come and attack your generous host.
Your culture and mentality is wicked and ungrateful- I don't know what your religion teaches you, but you will all pay for your wickedness. VERY SOON!

Imagine if Fulani spoke like this, there would be no peace anywhere in this country. Rather than discuss the real solution, which is to implement ranching, you are launching insults.

Once the goat has been pushed to the wall, it must start biting. Rather than trying to reach a solution you are insulting a whole race.... Continue, the Fulani are not fools... Eventually we will be pushed to the wall since you can't accept peace and dialogue.

When you get pushed to the wall you will return to Futa Jalon.

Buhari is not going to be the president forever.

Dialogue! With murderers.
