ahiboilandgas: Leave them they don’t know Igbos can never rule this country Come 16 years to come Go and write it down The power is always within Hausa and Yoruba They will know that until they present their son Kanu Ruling the country by them would forever be a thing of the past. They will know that if yorubas are silent They knows what they are doing. 1 Like |

PHijo: When you say the south lost, what you really mean is the SE lost. The SE has been a junior bride in all govts in Nigeria since independence, even the election it won it settled for being a junior partner. Tafa/Zik. The SW has never had presence at the center since independence until Buhari/Osinbajo. Pls dont be deceived OBJ was not a SW presidency even though he is a SW man. He was annointed by the North against the wishes of the SW in alliance with the rest of the country, if anything the Se was more a beneficiary of OBJ's govt than the SW. The history of the SE is that you are sore losers, whenever you lose you scatter everything for everybody. Thats why you are where you are now politically and it because of the tendency of the SE to cause trouble for everybody when things dont go their way that the country is structured in a way it is today such that it can never make progress. Nigeria is structured to checkmate the SE at the cost of true progress and we are all paying for it!!! 1 Like |

ThumbzTNA: Then ask the Igbos in PDP why they didn’t see the country constituted into 6 regions when they insisted that PDP chairmanship was zoned to the entire South and not micro-zoned to the West. Igbos can’t be saying requesting and insisting on how things should be done only according to how it favour them or they stand the chance to benefit You are free to go to court of a South western emerges from APC primary or wins the presidency 1 Like |

ahiboilandgas: Lol, when Tinubu was suffering and his party campaign office ransacked by DSS under PDP instructions, Umahi and Kalu were very much in that same pdp. But Igbos want us to buy their case for fairness that Tinubu should discountenance his sacrifices for the party and hand over the party to those that punished him when he was creating the party with the current president Talk about justice and fairness 1 Like |

Okwyjesus: The Igbo man did not leave it for the North. The North took it. Unfortunately the North has different values from the south. As far as the North is concerned Nigeria is ok the elites are better off than before the coup...they now have free money they dont have to work for. We are the ones who have lost as a result of your ill advised misadventures because our aspirations and values have been suppressed by efforts, political structures and laws enacted primarily to keep you in check. The North has gained access to Oil it didnt have before the coup and civil war, prior to that the oil belonged to the eastern and midwest regions. Everybody control of his resources, now they control every body's resource. why do we have states instead of regions? because of the ibos, why do Northerners always control key security positions? because of ibos, why do Oil amd mineral resources go to the centre? because of the ibos, why do we have a powerful center? because of the Ibos... why? because the desire to keep Nigeria one at all costs by the descendants of Usman danfodio (political control) trumps development and they see empowering ibos militarily or with finances to acquire arms as something that may lead a secession (hence no state police) and they would rather preside over a poverty ravaged undeveloping country than hand over resources and power to Ibos and give them the resources to lead another breakway of ony portion of the land "promised" them by their progenitor.. You have clearly missed the point!! if you do you will see the error of your people and why there will be no ibo president!!! 1 Like |

Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha is the most preferred, he is a good pick for President or Vice President. Umahi and Ken Nnamani also comes to mind. |

Masterkernel1:Much of the little development we see in Imo state today were the efforts of Rochas administration. Remember his investments in the education sector. The thing is, once someone is hated, nothing the person does ever makes sense to the undiscerning and insincere people. I think that's the case with Rochas. |

chukwuaustin: You are just half-truth your comments. You did not ask yourself how did all parties choose from SW? Did South East contest with SW then? And if Ekwueme eventually emerged as the then PDP candidate as he contested with OBJ, would you have been saying the same now? OBJ emerge after the primaries and not by fiat. So others will contest with your candidates from the East and let the winners emerge. Do you get that? |

frankdre: Politics is not usually about who you want, but about who the political party feels is sellable to the country as a whole because he has put in the work to build a brand that other sections of the country are comfortable with. You cannot win Presidency in Nigeria by being a 'local champion' that only your own people fancy, because their votes alone will not get you the position. Rochas and OUK may be disliked by their people but other sections of the country may be comfortable with them for the simple reason that they are not clannish, and would protect the interest of other Nigerians and not just igbos. 1 Like |

Hmn....Orji Kalu, N4 billion from Abia state coffers in the kitty, how much will he steal from Nigeria? Don't mention criminals when talking of potential candidates please. The likes of Orji Kalu, Tinubu and co belong to Nigeria's underworld. Keep bringing their names if you want to stay impoverished for life. |
