The last has not been heard about the south west congress. The other factions will fight back. Fayose was displaced but don't forget he was once a member of ACN. He won't bow to Olujimi and won't collapse his structure for another person. The state chairmen too will struggle to mingle or work with / for Arapaja who migrated to PDP from APC. For PDP to maintain the one state as it stands will need a lot of behind the scene settlements. I just wish Makinde will see the handwritten on the wall and correct himself so that he won't go Ambode' way . A leader should be magnanimous and benevolence. it is very refreshing to see that there are some Nairalanders who understand that an election is about numbers, arithmetic and counting instead of posting emotional illogical rants. If you dont have the numbers you cant win an election..simple!!!

SS is maxed out PDP = there are no votes to gain there for PDP (if you have 99% of votes where is the extra votes coming from?)
SE is largely PDP = There are not many votes to gain even if states like Imo turn PDP the overall vote in SE is not enough to make a difference. The total number of votes in the SE is less than 1 of the big states in the NW or NE. I have said it many times the SE vote is the most inconsequencial vote in National elections because it makes no difference to the outcome whicever way they vote.
NC is always a 55%-45% vote one way or another, if it flips one way or another, which if memory serves me right amounts to about a 500k gain or loss, it wont make a dent to national numbers because their overall voter numbers in the NC are not huge.

NW,SW and NE are the zones that will determine election and unless APC (which controls these zones) self implodes, PDP cannot win the election no matter what they try. i.e PDP cannot win in 2023 only APC can lose it!!!

If anything, there is a danger that PDp fall even further because APC is making inroads in traditional PDP territory like SS and SE.
