Buhari’s Former Son-In-Law, Kumo Breaks Silence On Being Wanted For $65m Fraud by Amotolongbo(f): 8:32pm On May 19, 2021
Mr. Gimba Kumo, a former son-in-law to President Muhammadu Buhari, has claimed he was never invited by the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC) for the alleged misappropriation of $65m, before he was declared wanted.

Kumo is alleged to have embezzled the money while he was Managing Director of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria.

The ICPC declare him wanted alongside Tarry Rufus and Bola Ogunsola

However, in a letter addressed to the Chairman of the ICPC, Prof. Bolaji Owasanoye, which is dated May 18, 2021, Kumo described the development as unfortunate, adding that no attempt was made at inviting him before he was declared wanted.

The letter signed by his lawyer, Chief O.U Orji, and Uwem Umoawan, read in part, “We were reliably informed by our client that he was never served with any official invitation in line with Section 29, 30, 31, and 32 of the ICPC Act, 2000.

“Since he left the FMBN, his private office and home addresses are well known to the public as both the DSS and the EFCC have also effected service/invitation to him personally which he honoured without any hesitation on the same issues as he does not have anything to hide.”

DSS/EFCC you can go to anyone's address to question, investigate and arrest them.
Anyone found corrupt must face the music in this nation.
No sacred crow any longer.
THAT being said,
We are still on the matter of the opolo eyes that stolen billions of dollars and ran to UK and bought the citizenship of a carribean country with our Tax payer money. Is that how she will die abroad without coming back home to vomit our Yams?
THAT being said, from PMB son-in-law, we read throughout last week, it is now ex and former son-in-law!
UP Nigeria!!

Coronabirus:
Calling him PMB's son-in-law is a deliberate media trick to twist the actual narration of the story.
He was appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria on the 4th December, 2010. His tenure ended in August 2014.
His sins were under GEJ's administration & dubiously married PMB's daughter in 2016 by expecting to get shield from his previous sins. The marriage didn't give him the needed protection and he divorced the woman in the short spell marriage!
Oh, we understand better now.
Thanks for the detailed information.
Na only God go save this country.... for real!

Abacha never collected over 1 trillion dollars loan like Buhari. After stealing all local money, Buhari still borrow international money and steal that one too. There should be a fine for a declaration out of court. Government agencies declare wanted, guilty and numerous unfounded claims outside of court, tarnishing images up and down.

Former son in law...not son in law. Read between the lines or you will keep failing exams.

For all we know Buhari and his goons might just be going after him vindictively.

Them never tell us all the sins of this 'former' son in-law. When did he bag the award of former in-law , is it after the discovery or before the discovery. I am not understanding.

Man, this guy was appointed by GEJ and made this grand corruption under the watch of GEJ govt. He later married PMB's daughter in 2016 expected to get shield from his previous sins. The marriage didn't give him the needed protection and he divorced the woman later!
