Condolences as usual.Government need to be more proactive.Mishap on air,road and also on water and all the govt could do is to send condolences upon condolences.By the time this govt is over ,the population would have been drastically reduced.

Government will give you everything, the operators of the boats, are they carrying people free, cant they afford life jackets for passengers

Nothing stops any of the passengers from saying a big no to over crowding on the boat knowing that their lives are on stake.
Many states need to learn from Lagos State in some aspect in governance.

Good morning, I understand clearly what you are talking about but North is entirely different, could you believe that 5 men can ride with one okada? I have seen it more than 3 different times here in Abj.

There is need for proper orientation, most of them riding okada can't speak nor understand English very well, you ask them a particular place, they would affirm that they know the place but will take you to another place.

Safety is one thing that is highly important and must be adhere to by all Nigerians.

Even if they provide, Pepe are so stupid and refused to use them..... I once board a boat in Lagos, Almost all the passengers held to their life jackets, and only put them on when we approached the shore...
