Kudos! You can't protect your country and set Africa ablaze. I hope they will do this with immediate effect.

A step in the right direction... Social media has become a tool for creation of fake news that ends up leading to anarchy.

It's a tool setup by the western world to disrupt any progress being made in our country.

I stand with the Federal Government on this

Don't worry...your country is going down down down the drain while fools like you get blinded by what ever they gain out of it....your eye go clear when your nation just becomes one with Mali and co

So banning twitter would make Nigeria great? Twitter is not banned in the US, so the US is a failed state?

Its a case of the FG showing their power. US is a 100% liberal state.

Tweeter has the right to ban Buhari on their platform, Nigeria also has a right to ban tweeter if necessary.

Sometimes I wonder how some of us reason. Sometime last year, when Donald Trump was still the president of the United States of America , his twitter a account was suspended, and he was later banned from twitter..for his post, your federal government don't want "HATE SPEECH ". but they (federal government) can make hate speech .some of us need to grow up. The earlier we begin to play politics away from religion and tribe.. the better the country Nigeria will be.

CAN YOU EXPLAIN WHY KANU TWITTER WAS NOT SUSPENDED FOR GIVING IPOB ORDER TO KILL OFFERS THEN...

Twitter is banned in China.
And China is a great country.
That's a civilized nation and they did it for a reason

As socialists they don't need inteference from democracies outside

Their economy is working and they are reaping the reward of what they can't make up for in free speech

Here in Nigeria we don't enjoy democracy we don't enjoy the socialist stuffs yet they want to gag us

They will soon mandate the telcos to block access to twitter from Nigeria........just symptoms of a failed state. Instead of accepting responsibility, This Government is always looking for someone to blame for incompetence.

Now its twitter.

What's the progress made by your country led by Buhari.... Threatening people with war talks.. shame on you

One Abokki was delighted with the news that he said Twitter was rude to his country ... And I asked him... Is Buhari your country?...
A cow who has clearly abused his position and power...

Spits....

Twitter was protecting their country against domestic terrorists that invaded the Capitol Hill but see nothing wrong in allowing twits that encourage the destruction of Nigeria. God punish Twitter, IPOB, Boko Haram, Killer Herdsmen, Bandits and Igboho. Facebook should also be suspended. China and many developing countries did and they brought sanity to their country.

Tinpot dictators comparing themselves with China when it comes to crude censorship...
But when it comes to economic progress and lifting hundreds of millions out of poverty, not so much.
