Those questions are for you to find out. Put your brain to work for a change. While at it, ask or research how much the airport your governor built costs and how much the State is getting from it.
Firstly I'm not from anambra and anambra airport is had less than 50 billion budgeted for it ...that's less than $100 million dollars ...anambra being a business hub ...it's a wonderful investment considering the fact not a kobo was borrowed

Abuja kaduna rail way generate #350 million a month that's 0.7 million dollars month and cost $850 million dollars to build

At this rate it would take 101 years to break even

The basic mistake u keep making is one a bulk of their export is uranium which we lack capacity to transport and Nigeria trade volume with Niger is than $200 billion

2 ) exporting $200 million worth of goods your earning won't be more than 10% of that ,that's $20 million per freaking year ... maintainace ,staff and repairs would eat 70% of that

U are left with 6 million dollars as profit whivh I believe is impossible, I believe we would run at loss

At that rate na 316 years to break even

Who told you the target is the trade items between Nigeria and Niger only? That's where a lot of tribally laced comments come from. Many can't calm down to understand simple things, they feel they know all.

Right now Niger access the seaport via trucks to carry their imports and exports to Cotonou seaports. If they find cheaper alternative in Nigerian trains it will be their decision if they prefer more expensive trucks through Benin republic.

If the sales volume between Nigeria and Niger is $200m, that's another icing on the cake of the $4.5bn import/export volume of that country.

So you think we are building the rail because of $200m trade, that's actually hilarious.

Bro try to use facts when discussing in public forum, it adds more credibility to whatever you say.
What Bubu is doing by focusing on trains is in your best interest, in reality you are fighting against your self-interest. Will you not benefit whether as a producer, marketer or consumer if food transport cost drops by 50% as indicated below?

Cost of shipping by train vs truck
The cost to combine rail and truck using a bulk transfer terminal is approximately $95.54 per net ton. By comparison, rail direct is $70.27 per net ton, and over-the-road truck is $214.96 per net ton. Using multi-modal rail and truck transit compared to truck alone, you can cut transportation costs by more than half.2
