I feel he's popular here on nairaland, promoted by Alexreports (who is also contesting), and in his village.

A lot of Anambra sons have impacted (even more) in their villages and in Anambra at large. E.g., Innoson, Chikason, Ibeto, etc.
It is good he build a gigantic structure (may be hospital?) in his hometown, but that does not translate that he will be a great governor. He can continue in his philanthropic gesture and must not be a governor to effect the change he wants for his community.

Many people around him may be giving him false hope just to cash out on him.
