The Court of Appeal in Abuja has voided the the June 9 judgment by Justice Olukayode Adeniyi of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) sacking the Executive Councils of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in Anambra State.

In two judgments on Friday, the appellate court upheld the two appeals filed against the judgment.

The appeals marked: CA/A/359/2021 and CA/A/CV/368/2021 were filed by the PDP and Barrister Uchenna Obiorah.

The Court of Appeal, Abuja held the High Court of the FCT lacked the territorial jurisdiction to have heard the suit brought on the dispute over the leadership of the PDP in Anambra.

Justice O.A. Adeniyi had ordered the sacking the Anambra PDP EXCOs in a judgment on a suit marked: HC/CV/774/2021 filed by Samuel Anyakolah (for himself and all local government chairmen and ward executives that emerged from the Anambra PDP congress conducted on November 28 and December 1, 2017 under the supervision of Sir Chukwudi Umeaba, as Acting Chairman State Caretaker Committee).

Listed as defendants in the suit are the PDP, Chief Ndubisi Nwobu and Barr. Uchenna Obiora.

I heard that APGA equally have a similar appeal court case coming up. Let it just favor Soludo's faction.

As for Andy Ubah, his candidacy seems to be dead on arrival, going with the recent Supreme Court pronouncement on current APC leadership

"Lacks territorial jurisdiction". And one clown went to zamfara to obtain a judgement on which basis INEC recognised him as APGA flag bearer for Anambra instead of the winner of the primaries, Charles Soludo

Amateurish?

What could be more amateurish and childish than APC deciding to go on with their ward congresses despite all seven justices of the Supreme Court agreeing that you lots have an illegal Chairman.

What analysis is more childish than that?

I pray you people continue wandering in the wilderness of illegality so that APC can knock itself off 2023 political map.

I'm not a fan of Ifeanyi Uba but it's very likely going to happen, if APGA and PDP fail to put their house in order. Don't forget that majority didn't believe that he could defeat Andy Ubah with YPP during the last senatorial election, but he pulled the surprise. We will be watching as the event unfolds
