Pure madness. They plan to pipe gas there when it's cheaper to generate electricity at the source of the gas and transmit them at super high voltage to Maiduguri

They will use gas cylinders to supply the gas.

Is that the prerogative of the NNPC. Why not coming from NERC? Will the 50MW be sent into the National Grid as demanded by law. Can Borno state pay for light. Yola disco has since stopped business and returned back the asset to the state due to no profitability.
