Relationships at some aspects takes up a criteria of having both partners linked to thisame traits, destiny etc for its inceptions. So the question is, would u go into a relationship considering ur karma or love destiny with ur said partner? |

Everyone has a soul mate but unfortunately some will never meet their soul mates because of death, distance, lack of faith, and stigmatization's. Karma is real and what goes around comes around. We all were predestined before we were born. The definition of plan means an outline of tasks before action, thoughts, and speech. |

Re: Do You Believe In Karma? Soul Mates? Destiny? by senbonzakurakageyoshi(m): 12:47pm On Jun 07, 2011 |
karma, i think so. destiny: partially. My take on destiny is this: its not some single, already determined end to a life that's yet to be lived. I think of it rather as the end you get after certain actions have been carried out. For example a properly cooked pot of soup is destined to taste good if you add salt and its destined not to taste so good if you don't add salt. Your actions determine the destiny. Instead of the "it will happen no matter what you do" notion so many people have like wether you add salt or not, the soup will taste good. or bad. as for soul mates, no, i don't believe in that. I believe when a man and a woman are in a relationship, they need to know to come to compromises and make concessions. No matter how much they love each other, if they can't come to agreement over a disagreement, their relationship will not last. A lot of marriages/relationships fail because of either irreconcilable differences or the couple (or one of the two) are too lazy to work on the relationship, not because "it was just not made to be" like Nollywood never fails to tell us. |

El-Guapo I am not sure about any of this things you mentioned, but I have oftened wondered what destiny is. Well I once read somewhere that there's nothing like destiny and that your life becomes what you make of it (i guess through the choices we make ) |

madoba: Sure life is what u make out of it, then u fail to understand that at a time in life one cant forget to plead for Destiny interferance into life's traumas, Destiny stil play a key role in every human life |

El Guapo: Guapo please explain to me what destiny is? I'm curious to know and understand this word/concept called destiny. I would rather plead to God/Jesus Christ to intervene in my life on different issues than plead to destiny cos I sure as hell don't what it is. But God is by far a certain and reliable helper not destiny. |

karma, yes, I do believe that there are natural consequences/rewards for what we do or fail to do. Soul mate, er no not really, I feel relationships are about compatability and compromise and also a practical and realistic approache to the other person and their qualities and challenges. Destiny, in a way, but ,more opportunity and how easy we c an recognise and exploit them. like karma there are natural outcomes. There is also a spritual aspect of destiny, in that we cant see all. At the end of the day, it boils down to the decisions we make about the opportunites that present themselves. |

madoba: Destiny refers to a predetermined course of events. It may be conceived as a predetermined future, whether in general or of an individual. It is a concept based on the belief that there is a fixed natural order to the cosmos. Different concepts of destiny and fate Destiny is seen as a sequence of events that is inevitable and unchangeable. There is the often confusing argument that individuals can choose their own destiny by selecting different "paths" throughout their life, even though the different courses of action the individuals take nonetheless lead to a very predetermined destiny. To escape the contradiction (the incompatibility of philosophical terminology) of this argument and fully support the concept of destiny, most believe it necessary to declare and accept this notion of choice (freewill) as illusion. Another belief, known as Micaic Destiny, states that free will and destiny can coincide in harmony. This argument states that we all make only one unchangeable choice every moment. Simply because a certain choice will inevitably be made does NOT mean that we do not make our own decisions. This belief assumes that we have no power to accurately and precisely predict the future. Destiny has been envisaged as fore- ordained by the Divine (for example, the Protestant concept of predestination) or unfolding through the exertions of human will, for example, in the American concept of Manifest Destiny: "By the 1850s it was generally believed in the United States that a superior American race was destined to shape the destiny of much of the world."The explicit racialism had developed from a 17th-century vision of Puritan New World destiny as a " chosen people" whose destiny it was to establish a "New Jerusalem". A sense of destiny in its oldest human sense still remains in a soldier's fatalistic image of the "bullet that has your name on it", or "the moment when your number comes up", or the flowering of a romance between lovers who are "meant to be" together. In Greek mythology, the human sense that there must be a hidden purpose in the random choices of the lottery governs the selection of Theseus to be among the youths to be sacrificed to the Minotaur |

For all believe of karma read this; Mr.A has been known to sleeping with married women when he was single and down the line he got married to a lovely lady that all her life has tried to remain good. Years into their marriage Karma visited Mr.A for his past ways and someone else whom all is life has been a good guy happens to sleep with Mr.A's wife. Wait what happens? Mr.A just got paid for his past deeds, yes karma is great but then two new entries have just been opened on Karma's records; one for Mr.A's wife and the second for the guy that slept with her. Well karma has to close these entries by signing them the cheque they deserve but karma can only cash the cheque on their behalves by raising two additional fresh entries; SO CONTINUES THE CYCLE, :d :d :d 1 Like 1 Share |
