Simple solution: Buy the protein yourself

If your wife is from a poor background, then you should understand why she does this...

It's simple. Slash her allowance anytime she under feed you.

Or after eating, tell her you're going out to eat to eat in a restaurant. No argue, nofight, no fuss!. That kain talk dey reset woman brain.

The woman should do what her husband want. Moreover, the guy's not requesting for overfeeding. He just wants to eat to his satisfaction. That ain't too much to ask for in his home.

My brother, me too I don't get why it is that difficult for her. cheesy
If anything, women are more likely to overfeed their men.

Reject her food for like 3days straight and watch her comport herself. She will begin to serve you like a king and beg you with kisses to eat. Maybe she is from a poor background and is still trying to adjust.

gbam!

Right!

As long as the wife is not restraining him, he can go ahead and dish more food, but this could be avoided if the woman can just do a simple task ifof giving him enough to fill his belly! Sadly, she ain't doing that but she's justifying it with flimsy excuses!

My wife attitudes towards food she cooked with my money is getting on my nerves.

How can my wife be dishing food to me like she's serving it for our kids.times without number have complained but still no changes.

It's either she makes eba that won't satisfy us ( when they is enough garri available) her defense is that she don't want it to be wasted.

OR

She dished out soup for me with lesser meat like am a kid. Have told her several times when cooking..to buy enough protein in the soup or stew. But to my surprise she always economise the money and divert it into something else.

I even had to start buying suya in the evening when coming back from work, because I know what I be expecting when my food is dished out. ( Recent news we saw of how suya killed some families, made me limiit it)

Have ordered her on several occasions to take it back and put more protein, but must i always do that?

Please This is really getting out of hand, I really don't know how to handle this situation.
That food issue is a serious matter in marriage!

prepare to do these things but just 1month, when coming back from work, branch at a very good restaurant, eat to the fullest, buy some take away for your kids, make sure you don't talk to her for the first one week about your new action, if she report you to anyone, table everything the way you discuss it here. And if she still continue that, as for me oh, I will marry another wife, may be I don't joke with food

Exactly! Women tend to even like it when their man demand for more and in return appreciate their culinary skills.

Buy the meat yourself then bring it home and instruct her to cook more than enough portions. You are a man because you can physically solve problems. Women are the ones who spend time talking about theirs while doing nothing.

In your own house? Greedy?

I don't think you are serious.

If you are so bothered, then dish your food yourself.

Don't be that husband that keeps ordering madam about like a househelp.

PS: I generally open the pots for "second helping" in my own house. Don't make a mountain out of a mole hill.

Give her money to buy soup ingredients and buy meat by yourself, if she dishes you less food after finishing it order for more

@op maybe she is building house somewhere for you guyz or she intend to buy land. If you already got house and have extra land somewhere then there is no point she is managing the money for food like that

I understand your pain Sir! Am in it presently! You are lucky your wife cooks, my own hates to cook and when she cooks she serves me like a slave or a houseboy. Sometimes when I see my food I weep inside, sometimes I eat, sometimes, I ignore! Me and you are the same, I buy suya every night to avoid, trouble at home. Most times the eba is hot while the soup is full of ice, she will say use the hot eba to dissolve the ice soup or go and employ a house girl. The only difference is that mine is from Akwa Ibom, when she cooks she must add all the protein in large quantity.

Disrespectful?? Lol. Which kind disrespect pass the one wey she dey give her husband? See ehn, in my parent's house, when we're hungry, my mum always tell us to go fetch food from the kitchen ourselves. I grew up with this and I can't imagine my wife restricting me from going to the kitchen to serve myself. It's just stupid. Like why?? Why

You should be happy man that your wife is trying to save you money for unnecessary expenses; buying more meat, fish, kpomo, and other cooking items.

Your wife is playing along with the current changes in the economy that Buhari is ruling.

Atimes man you go and dish for yourself and be happy.

What kind of advice is this? he is looking for ways to resolve his issue, you're trying to complicate things.

So his wife should cook, he should then go into the kitchen to cook protein and eat?.. the suya he is eating sef soumds much better

Chairman meat is not the only source of protein , try fish most times. Research has reviewed that too much consumption of meat is not good for kidney function. I used to love steak but Bro. me and fish dey roll well now, I have agreed with myself that meat is for outing waka with my meat eating friends.
