Security operatives were killing them and they are also taking out the security operatives.

I think why the IPOB has remained relatively peaceful is that the SE leaders are negotiating with them to reach a political solution for the release of Nnamdi Kanu.

BTW, IPOB's decision to okay the Anambra elections was the best thing that happened to the state. No sane person will vote in an environment where security operatives and armed non-state actors are engaged in an open-fire duel.
