Why is the USD falling so rapidly? Is there a new regulation? Did someone dump a sh*t-load of USD on the market?

While the USD has fallen in the parallel market, the Euro and GBP have appreciated somewhat around the same time, what is responsible for the shift from USD to the EUR/GBP if this hypothesis is true?

Open a Nigerian paypal account and also open a Stanbic Ibtc account, either savings or current, you will be given a bank card, verify ur Nigerian paypal with it, then you can now purchase stuff frm the net using ur Paypal account @ the rate of 199.50k with it. Any shop online.

My guy, your analysis are usually spot on. And with the banks no longer allowing USD cash deposits, people can only go to BDC for transfers or buy cash to go abroad

Most importers don't travel with cash but wire transfers. But travellers move more of cash. The parallel market is cash based. With euros and pounds going High against the Naira, most travellers will now demand USD in cash for their travel needs. The Cbn has limited travellers access on the atm cards and also they cant deposit cash in their Dom accts
