thats not the argument should tofa be winning more states in east than abiola in the first place?
How can you claim you vote for someone that lost 3 out of 4 states?
The only region Abiola lost in southern Nigeria was south east region.
abiola won south west and south south convincingly
Tofa had Igbo man as his VP (Roger that) and Igbos still shared their votes almost equal with Abiola

Bottom line
Yoruba never questioned Ibo political choices and never called them betrayers
You have a right to vote as you like
We respect that
So do we.
Respect that too.

Why is that complex or hard?

S why calling us betrayers?

When did we bring wine to your house to beg for marriage

Stay on your lane and do what you have always done privately

Why now getting emotional and abusive ?

We do not expect anything from you.

We only point out you did not vote for Abiola when you say

"Yoruba betrayed south in 2015"

If you did not betray south in 1960, 1965, 1979, 1984 or 1993 then how is our in 2015 a betrayal
and which "south" are we talking about.?

You mean the atomic explosion of hatred by ibos after Yoruba elders went to Jonathan to ask for their fair share after voting for him

That thread is AFTER the years of bitter attacks and hate for Igbos from the likes of you . Only one thread where Igbos troll Yorubas in return and you are all still wailing and moaning. You guys were regularly uploading civil war pictures of starving Igbo children because GEJ embraced Igbos. Should we start resurrecting those threads?

Spinning tales and calling us evil won’t change the truth. MKO lost in 3 out of the 4 Igbo states. Now, let’s imagine an election between Okonjo Iweala and Aminu Masari. How will you feel if Masari wins in 5 out of the 6 south west states? Crazy right? Yeah, that was exactly what happened in 1993.

To understand how silly the decision of you Igbos to vote against MKO was, Kano, the home state of Tofa voted massively for MKO. I mean, over 60% of Kano voters voted for MKO while he couldn’t get 50% in the south east. It is indefensible. It was the height of southern betrayal and we shall never forget.

You really have time. And I can see you're having high hopes that these yeebos will ever get sense. That's like expecting a donkey to use a sewing machine.

Moving the goal post. But you guys have been saying Igbos didn’t support Abiola despite the fact that he got almost 50% of the votes.

Imagine if he didn’t say that he didn’t need igbo votes to win. Maybe he could have actually won in the east.

Yorubas. This people can make the devil look like an apprentice.

So igbos supported Buhari also? Except you're saying Buhari got 0% votes in the yeast.

This MKo abiola 1993 election thread is very useless and boring.

We don't own any body loyalty. Yoruba has never vote for any igbo candidate and igbo has vote for Yoruba candidate twice in 1999 and 2003

There should go hold IBB responsible for annualing the Election victory of their son.

1979, it was North vs SW vs East... And everybody answer hin papa name.

1983, it was a repeat of 1979.

1993, it was North vs South.... SE voted North.

1999, it was SW vs SW... SE was anti- Yoruba, voted against Yoruba's choice.

2003- 2011, PDP was the biggest party, every region voted PDP.

2015, APC vs PDP... Yoruba voted Buhari, Ibos voted Jonathan.

2019, APC vs PDP... Yoruba voted Buhari, ibos voted Atiku.

SE vote against Yoruba choice which is OBj but the same SW voted for OBJ in 2003 presidential election. You voted for the man you said it was not your choice.

If truly OBj was not Yoruba choice, you guys should have voted for buhari/okadigo in 2023 instead of voting for the same man you said it was not ur choice.

Who do you guys think you are fooling with your propaganda cheesy

So stop that nonsense of a thing by saying SE voted for obj in 1999 who is not Yoruba choice while SW voted for obj in 2003, the man they claim that he was not their choice.

If truly OBj was never Yoruba choice . You shouldn't have voted for him 2003 elections. You should have boycotted the election or better still vote for another candidate. But you guys go back to own vomit by voting for obj in 2003

Then you guys have no right to accuse the SE for voting for obj who is not Yoruba choice while you voted for the Same OBJ in 2003

Why not wait till then to start exhibiting your inherited igbo foolishness.

sweerychick:
your hypocrisy stinks to high heavens but I won't go tribal on you because I expect nothing more from an advocate. For the records you hypocrites only voted Buhari because of Osibanjo and 2023.. Even your smelly advocate once called Buhari an incompetent person and an agent of destabilization. I laugh when you folks thinks that north will fold their arms and handover power to you hypocrites just like that Even PMB is sceptical about your advocate, he's only playing for the cameras with him. 2023 go shock u because you don't know who you are dealing with.

Very nice.
You will now calculate the % Atiku/Peter Obi ticket won in the west to see that many of you online igbo are mad bearing in mind that a foolish ticket such as that even won a state in the West. Oyo state the largest Yoruba state if we remove cosmopolitan Lagos.

BigSarah:
My analysis South east gave 47% of the votes to, a Muslim-Muslim ticket, in an election a SE son was a VP to a major contender in Tofa.

That means the SE are liberal!

Igboid:
Can Yorubas show us a presidential election, where they gave an Igbo presidential candidate or VP , 48% of the elections casted in SW while ignoring a Yoruba VP or president involved in same election?

For emphasis.

Zik was a presidential candidate in 1979 and 1983
And Ekwueme was the VP to Shagari in 1979 and 1983!
How many percentage of votes did Yorubas give these Igbo men?

Chuba Okadigbo was the VP to Buhari in 2003 and Ume-Ezeoka was Buhari VP in 2007!
How many percentage of votes did SW give these two Igbos?

How can Yorubas accuse Ndiigbo of things they are guilty of.
They cry that our 48% given to Abiola was too small, but they have never given an Igbo VP or presidential candidate up to 15% of votes cast in SW!

Isn't this hypocrisy!

Stop confusing yourself
In 1979 and 1980 a yorubaman was on the ballot now.....how do you expect yorubas to vote for you.
How come ita only VP that ibos always fight for?
This thread is even fighting yorubas for not voting an iboman as VP.....una no fit fight for president?
Oh i forgot
PDP has repeatedly said no iboman is fit to be its presidential candidate
Instead of fighting PDP its yorubas you are fighting for not voting you VP.
What make you think yorubas wont vote for an ibo presidential candidate? But it has to be an iboman we like and want.....just like ibos also chose the yorubaman they like and want like when they voted OBJ over Falae who was the choice of majority yorubas.....or like ibos also chose fulani man they like and want like voting for UMYA.....and Atiku and not voting for buhari
