A Nigerian man has raised alarm after he was reportedly chased away from a branch of the Redeem Christian Church of God (RCCG) because of his full beard.

The incident happened in Aba, Abia state.

It was gathered that the man chased away was supposed to be the best man of another member of the church holding his wedding ceremony in the church.

Explaining what happened in the video, the man in the company of a woman said he was chased out of the church because of his beard.

He even mentioned that he was once a leader at another RCCG branch and they did not discriminate against the beard.

Nothing unusual. When you are in Rome, do like the Romans. It's the fault of the groom for not doing his due diligence to know the ground rules obtainable in that particular parish.
The parish was staying on their own jejely, when he went to meet them to conduct his wedding, so he should abide by any house/ground rules they give him

That said, the church should have allowed the best man perform his duty so as not to ruin the groom's day. After all, forgiveness is one of the key doctrines of Christianity and truth be told, the beard is not really outlandish or full, so what's the big deal ?
