Some will claim Nigerians don't have the knowledge. that is a lie, i have witnessed where a JBN German supervisor couldn't understand a drawing and the nigerian foreman was able to read and interpret the drawing.

Most of the multinational construction companies only invest in the machinery, it is Nigerians that do the construction, from civil-structural, mechanical, electrical, etc. all is being done by Nigerians, only asset they have is sincerity to construct to minimum spec.  The so-called expats are just supervisors like in a slave camp to ensure the workers do the job.

Trust me I know what I'm talking about. How will you describe a situation where an expat is brought in and a Nigerian shows him the job and in three months time he bosses the Nigerian. I'm talking of situations where Fresh technical school grads, diploma holders are brought in, guys younger than 25yrs old

Madam you're calling for jungle justice, i don't think that's the way to go here. The state governors who've have been using these multinationals to embezzle money must start to act right. The companies know that the govts don't give a sh!t about the people that why they equally treat the locals as sh!t. See what the US govt did to BP, that's real governance for you.

Frankly, I do not believe that this story is entirely true, BUT if it is, I can only say that I am dumbfounded. The workers there would be fools if they didn't burn down the building together with the people inside.

My late uncle (was an executive of the company) worked with a construction firm here in Naija and those bloody Lebanese always saw Nigerians as not good and felt wary of their every move (Lebanese who are worse off than Nigerians) and all these complains herein are not far fetched. I remember strolling on site with him and there was a brawl between the site instructor and one of the "labourers". Yea, the Naija guy gave the Lebanist word for word and my Uncle was full of smiles that day to see a labourer stand for his right and place him where he belongs (by the way, he was way above the so called Lebanese).
