Why couldn't he defend himself by attaching evidences - extracts from the handover note; Documents showing it went for repairs in Germany etcetera.

Let's all agree that the plain was sent for repair in 2012after which it was expected to be sold off.
Why did they keep it from 2012 till 2015(3yrs) before handover, for each day the airplane stays at the company money would be spent so why keep it that long when it was meant to reduce expenditure and not incure more.
