@Brabus. Thank u so much. Just wondering, Is it an easy job removing already set blocks if I want to make alterations to the floor e.g changing the door positions? as in do the bricklayers use concrete saw to cut and remove the blocks or is it hammer and chiesel they use?

I am just worried about cracks in the structure. Please this question is for all gurus in the house as well (Spyder, Casey, Am Alone).

My second question is, Does a house need a main bathroom if all the rooms are ensuite?

Its less time consuming to destroy than to build.

To establish an opening where there is already block wall so as to locate a door, better use chiesel and hammer.
Not sledge cos that will destroy the remaining block wall.
Mason hammer and chiesel can give you what you want.

Got some fabulous pictures to show us about a house I visited today, the duplex is still under construction and those guys are superb, I collected their contacts and hope to hire them soon when any of my clients work or mine gets to finishing level, enjoy the pics in a few hours, my son no gree me rest for now.

HEY @ spyder and every great contributor on this forum thanks for all your contributions on this site u guys gave people like me the hope that dreams can be achieved. i am new on Nl as a whole i googled building in nigeria and spyder's thread came up,, it was very helpful to me and i have been reading and following; it gave me the hope to go ahead and do something, i just recently bought a land in abuja though have not gotten the papers but by the grace of God i will get it in 2months or there about. then i have to take a deep breath and start my project, i wont lie am scared and reading all the millions people mention for building freaks the hell out of me but spyder has shown me in this thread that it is achiveable , can't forget the great personality AM ALONE either I leant few things from your post, hopefully u guys will be here to help me through with my project when it commences.
