Morally, it's indecent to kill other people but regardless, you have to go to war or be besiege by the enemy and then be submissive to the enemy.

NATO has continued to violate the agreement made with Russia/UN in 1990 not to expand in Europe as this will make Russia feel threatened for thier own security. NATO has violated that agreement 14 times since 1990 and now have reached Russia's door-step which is Ukraine.

At the time of that initial agreement; Putin was a spy and intel officer for the now dissolved soviet union and withnessed everything.

Now you telling the man to calm down and let the West take over his territory front-line over some silly NATO alliance and then claim world dominace.

The last straw for Ukraine was when thier President declared he would make Ukraine a nuclear nation again after he joins NATO — and you expect Putin to sit back and watch that happen?

Still, Russia has no right to invade Ukraine. If Ukranians want to join NATO, who on earth is he to oppose?? He has no right to enforce his views on an entire nation and the cost of innocent lives

If Russia was more friendly with Ukraine, would they have ever had to worry about Ukraine joining NATO? Putin is behaving like a dictator

Will US allow Mexico or even Cuba to host Russian bases or nuclear arms? They will NEVER!

Putin only attacked military installations or most of other cities would be burnt by now. Does that sound like someone who wanted to massacre innocent civilians?

Sir, why do people like you see evil and look the other way? Despite all the atrocities of Putin, you still prefer not to hold him accountable but rather point fingers at the US. Russia has made it clear re-creating the old USSR is the goal. US or not US, they would have still done this. Their only anger is that they wanted Ukraine to have no backup when they strike. Ukraine knew this and that's why they made the move to join NATO. Let's call a spade a spade, Putin is wrong. That's the first fact we must agree on.

There is freedom of association, fine but that is politically agreed upon but we talking territorial tusle here.

Ukraine is historically tied to Russia as well and Belarus and other countries around Russia.

Think of it this way: Let's assume you a big brother with 4 siblings and 1 of them starts misbehaving and likely to cause the family generational disgrace, won't you call that 1 sibling to order?

Russia is trying to call Ukraine to order (using military) because Ukraine exist just close to big brother Russia otherwise, any slip up will result to Russia insecurity thereby loss of Russia power or vulnerable to NATO domination.

Emotion and logic are both important. When you take out emotion, you see people like Putin with no regard for others

US doesn't need to use force to get people to subscribe to their views. They know how to influence without coercion. Russia is the complete opposite and that's what you call a dictator

Putin's fears are unfounded.
India and Pakistan are both nuclear countries.
Have they nuked themselves despite their being at logger heads most of the time over Kashmir?
It is normal for small states to join an alliance bigger than them, if they feel their bigger neighbour will bully and browbeat them into servitude and submission.
So it is okay for Putin to have security concerns, but wrong for Ukraine to feel threatened by Russian military might?

You can say the same about Czechoslovakia, United Kingdom, Northern and Southern Ireland and

Nigeria/Biafra, even husband/wife

Both USA and Russia are fighting for their self interest around the world because of they have the might.

Africa should be the best environment for Africans but since we sell ourselves and resources to outsiders;

Which country can an African survive better apart from Africa?
