Honestly. No award or grade is being added to the wedding certificate.
#4 million, same certificate.
#1million, same certificate.
#500k same certificate.
#200k, same certificate
50k
25k still the same type of wedding certificate
.

1. Exactly! My mum told me that traditional marriage is the real deal. The rest are formalities. After my traditional marriage, in the evening I waved at my husband that we'll see later, my mum shouted for where? You're going with him! You don't have a place here anymore. That was how I left house with little or nothing cause I wasn't prepared. I later came for my things.

2. Even as I type now, the memory is bringing tears to my eyes. I wanted to get married, I was excited about marriage but I wasn't prepared to leave my mom and everyone else. So I thought I'll just throw the party, everyone would eat then I'll return to being my normal self. I was shocked! We were already living together before we did the church and court wedding courtesy my mum. Cheers to her, sweet mum!
1. Your mother lied to you much like most women out there were also lied to in that there same Nigeria.. undecided

If she had told you, for example that by opting for traditional law, your husband is allowed by law to marry other wives and divorce you without a dime when he So chooses, something that can't happen had you opted for the registry affair, would you have seen your traditional the same way? undecided

2. Remembering a ceremony does that but it does not make it any more than just that, a ceremony.. undecided

No. She just clung to low-hanging fruits

I can see the child she's holding who is at least 3 years old. You impregnated her
, she bore you a child and you both have been cohabiting with everyone calling her your wife.

So when you suggested making it legal after her hinting it, she just went for the quickest option which legalises the role she's already settled into and allows her wear a ring without seeming too desperate.

Happy married life. When financial success comes your way, have a proper marriage anniversary even once with friends and family.

Women cherish these things. It's not the money- it's the feeling of being wedded.

What will you use to hold body and soul in your marriage. You are having the mentality that God will provide for you needs. Then nine months later you give birth to triplets or quadraplets and you start begging for alms

Which bride price again? This here is meant as an alternative to your traditional marriages. undecided

You can choose to either marry through the

1. traditional route
2. Church marriage
3. Registry or court marriage.

You only need do just one to be married. undecided

For ur marriage to be legal, u must have done marriage as to custom and done the traditional rites .ask a lawyer, before u sound uninformed

Wrong! For your marriage to be legal in Nigeria, what you need is to simply apply for a license which is the same document those who go straight to the marriage registry sign. undecided

A registry marriage involves the signing of a marriage license by a couple. That is the most basic of marriages. undecided

Your traditional marriages involves your traditional ceremonies(with applications of laws) carried out in addition to signing the same marriage license those who held to the registry also sign. undecided

you're dumb and foolish at the same time, you just address my point in your number 1 point. what I'm telling the Op is that even if he's not doing party, he can still dress either in his traditional attire or white dress and take nice pics just for future sighting, don't you see the picture of your parents that you're now making reference of?

why are many of you always typing when your mental provider is unavailable? should I be stressing myself in verbatim expression because of some group of low IQ on this forum

guy no let me go out of civil for you o, I hate imbecilic and unnecessary mentions from brain dead specimen like you
