chaloskyx: You sound so ingnorant. How was the oil stolen? Without the West did nigeria even know they had oil? What value is the oil to Nigeria or Africa if the west did not discover it and also discover means of utilising it? The oil revenues paid by the MOC, is it paid to US government or Nigerian government,? When I see ppl like you, I know Africans future is hopeless, if the future of the nation belongs to ppl with this your reasoning capacity than the future must be bleak. 1 Like |

nathyx: Do you know that US has more unconventional gas reserves than Nigeria? When talking, talk with sense. Without foreign investors of what use would the gas be to nigeria? 1 Like |

telleyway: On point. I guess the clowns would still blame US for poor management of our refineries. Africa's future is bleak, with this kind of brains displaying high level of naivety on this platform. 2 Likes |

blueAgent: Sense? You obviously have little of it. Someone is coming to siphon what you have, enrich himself and ultimately leave you broke nd filled with Environment pollutants you call call that wisdom? As a sovereign independent nation we don't need the U.S to harness our God given gifts |

nathyx: Clown, yet you needed US and UK to discover oil for you and still show you how to extract it? It's obvious you are not much exposed , there is no point arguing with you. No rationality or evidence that you understand how business, economics, or political issues are handled. the one produced today by Shell ,Chevron, Mobil e.t.c are they not paying taxes and royalty? Are they not employing Nigerians? Your type is the reason why Africa is a 3rd world shithole. |

blueAgent: Mister I don't know your name you sound very bittered, frustrated and utterly disappointed by the Nigeria you found yourself in. Don't be dismayed our western colonialization did not favour us especially because these people (U.S) they don't give a piss about you, as the name implies it's all about us us us, If they give you a pack of noodles it's because they want to steal the gold bar in your hand. how long did it take for Nigeria to discover they can refine their own petroleum right here in the country 60, 62 years? Now this same set of people have come telling you they want to help you harvest your produce and you quickly fall for that? what does it take for Federal access be given to indegenous private investors to research and setup ammonia processing gas plants in those places. |

nathyx: Your arguments are without facts. Shell a UK company built a refinery in Rivers state,Nigeria as early as 1965, It was nationalised by Nigerian government. Nigeria has been refining oil for years, I wonder were you got your information from. The only reason the refineries are not working optimally is becos of poor management and corruption, would you blame US and the west for that? You forget that whatever technology the indigenous companies would use to produce methanol is owned patented by the West, especially US. This is an industry I know very well,The indigenous companies do not have the technology , capital, or resources to build such plants. Ppl like you keep blaming western colonization for our failure which is totally wrong , becos their are several countries that where colonised and they are doing well. |
