That said, we can avoid land grabbing allegations by others that we are trying to swallow up our Itshekiri Yoruba kin and Kith if we do not say they are Yorubas. We allow them autonomy of identity and still have them back within the Yoruba cultural fold. I am even dreaming of an autonomous Yoruba Commonwealth inside or outside Nigeria when the present arrangements inevitably collapse and we eventually become a confedracy or divided
