The parents may not be aware of the risks been taken on their behalf. Some of the administrators of these private schools can be so disconnected from reality. I hope they have been safely returned home.

Hmmm...... life jackets? Really?.... from pix.... those kids are used to river travel.... no fear.... all just relaxed.... and I wouldn't be surprised if they all know to swim very well. It would be nice and safe if they wore life jackets... but we must learn to be realists.

Such extreme recklessness, If the schools know the parents can't afford the proper protection on these excursions they should pls let the children stay at home. But these private schools see this as another way to make money from the parents, so they r not even careful enough. Just to collect the money from parents.
