But the question you should ask is why do these other aspirants always wait for election before they show themselves? Why don't they they at least form playing opposition within 4years of waiting to prop up their profile & get some attention to themselves? In all honesty, you cant entirely blame the media. The big names will remain big names if the smaller names always wait until election before they are heard

Very true, and I blame Nigerians, we all complain about how bad PDP and APC are, yet come election time, and people go and vote for...PDP and APC because they are 'the only parties' (Like a falied businessman returning to the methods that caused his failure instead of trying something new).

On the other hand, if Sowore wins, or Moghalu wins, they won't be able to get much done, am afraid, because they would very likely face a hostile national assembly made up of PDP and APC members who would block, furstrate, and block them.

Macron started in an established party, and his new party was not created from nothing, it came from the old Gaullist right in France.

Imran Khan is basically an icon in Pakistan from his past as a cricket player, and thus he built on that...plus his party, which he founded, has been around since 1996, and he campaigned from grassroots up. And even when he got into power, it was in coalition, not as the single dominant party in parliament.

Sowore in 2023? Unless we want to deceive ourselves.
